It is something I can relate to. Being creative, I am the greatest. Stress Bunny you’d ever seen. My entire life I was running around, on a very exhausting schedule. My body was suffering. My nervous system was an absolute wreck. I was always on guard and tight-lipped every moment of every day. I couldn’t sleep well at night and would frequently end up collapsed into bed for a few days at a time costing me precious time and lost jobs. Because I was a tough nut, I would then get back up and try again. It was so stupid!

I received massages and exercised a lot, and was advised to take this or that pill by well-intentioned health professionals. While it might have helped for a while, it never really got to the core of the matter. I was afraid to admit I was falling apart in case I didn’t look tough enough. No one wants to hear you’re not coping. You should not show weakness. Or they can make it harder for you to succeed and limit your opportunities.
