Jonathan Rose started his career at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in 1998. Jonathan Rose, a pioneer in computer-based trading, was an integral part of providing liquidity to the Globex young market. After five years of trading Nasdaq Futures, he was hired to join a fixed income trading firm that focuses on technology.

Jonathan was one the four Senior Partners of a Chicago-based proprietary trading firm from 2003 to 2010. He joined the company as the 6th employee. After a while, he became the Director of Futures Trading. This position was where he was responsible to all proprietary trading operations. Jonathan was responsible for the management of a large number of traders (more than 15) and the overall performance of the trading floors (60+ traders). Jonathan trained over 30 traders in every aspect of Fixed Income trading.

Jonathan was an Equity Advisor from 2010-2013 Options Market Maker on CBOE. He managed his own portfolio and traded over 100 stocks simultaneously.

Jonathan joined a private Family Office, or Hedge Fund, in the Chicago suburbs. Jonathan has worked with the firm’s investment team designing and implementing a pair trading investment strategy that focuses on Closed End Funds. He supports and promotes other strategies within the company, with a particular focus on business development. Jonathan received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami in 1997. Jonathan is a Level 2 CFA Candidate for 2015.

Jonathan completed the Madison Ironman in 2011. He also ran 4 marathons in the last four years. His free time is spent with his lovely wife, his two sons and his guitar.
