Ben Levin – Getting Songs Done

‍This course is about helping you to be as free and creative when writing music. This course will teach you how to shift your focus from negative thoughts towards the songwriting process and help you get back on track. We are going to try to have more fun writing music, and not let writer’s blocks get in the way.

‍This course includes demonstrations from a live band, made up of some my best friends, and a sample collection of sounds we created in the studio. This course will allow you to hear exciting music and make your own music.

‍You will be introduced to creative musical games and exercises that will help you come up with new ideas for music and lyrics. Next, we will develop seeds into more elaborate arrangements. We will then dive deep into the art of lyric writing. We will then explore how to finish songs and share them.

‍This course is for musicians who want to be more creative and have more fun with their music-making journey. We don’t get into the details of any instrument or cover music theory. My bandmates and me will instead help you use the knowledge that you have to create lots of music today.
