What is the secret to this method?
Truth be told, I wasn’t always comfortable sharing my own story. Actually, I was a nerd — long before it was cool to be a nerd. In desperation, my goal was to become a student of human behavior. After studying cultural Anthropology, I became a coauthor.-Before the age of 23, two social enterprise nonprofits were established. Since 2002-In 2009, my role as a branding and change consultant was to pioneer the use of storytelling within organizations. My ideas were featured in Fast Company, Brandweek and Storytelling Magazine. Everything changed after I went through a divorce in 2009. Soon I was broke, with no clients, and near bankruptcy.
Soon after, I was able to see the power of reinvention as well as how social media was changing our game. In just two years, I was no longer “just a consultant” To become a self-employed individual-Published author, journalist, podcaster, journalist and conference curator. It’s 2011 – you don’t need permission to become a recognized expert or authority. This comes from being authentic and telling your story. That’s what I’m going to teach you how to do – because your story needs to be heard.
