Dr. Jennifer Sweeton
Dr. Jennifer Sweeton is a licensed psychotherapist.-Internationally and as a selling author-Expertise in anxiety, trauma, and neurobiology of mental health.
She obtained her doctoral training at Stanford University School of Medicine, Pacific Graduate School of Psychology and the National Center for PTSD. She holds a master’s in affective neuroscience and studied behavioral genetics at Harvard University.
Dr. Sweeton has a group private practice.-Mind Works Professional Education, Inc., a continuing-education company, is owned by Dr. David A. Smith. He also holds adjunct faculty appointments at both the University of Kansas School of Medicine (KUSM) and the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (UOHSC).
She is the current president of the Greater Kansas City Psychological Association. She was previously the president of the Oklahoma Psychological Association. She provides psychotherapy services to clients across Oklahoma, Kansas and around the world. Her workshops have trained more than 10,000 mental healthcare professionals.
