Eric Wombwell, PharmD, BCPS, She is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy specialist and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administration, University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Pharmacy. Dr. Wombwell Following his PharmD at the University of Missouri Kansas City he completed a residency as a pharmacist at the Kansas City VA Medical Center.
Dr. Wombwell Coordinates the Pharmacy School courses of Pharmacotherapy II, and Zoonotic Illnesses. He also gives didactic lectures for UMKC on infectious disease, hematology/oncology, and zoonoses. He has been awarded multiple teaching awards. Dr. Xavier is often invited to speak to local and national nurse and pharmacist groups about a range of infectious diseases topics. Dr. Wombwell He is published frequently in the areas of immunizations, teaching, and pharmacologic treatment of infectious diseases. Dr. Wombwell As a clinical pharmacist specialist at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, Missouri, he focuses on antimicrobial safety and dosing antimicrobials in a pharmacokinetic manner. His professional interests are in emerging and reemerging infections and education technology.
Karen M. Marzlin, DNP. RN. CCNS. CCRN.-CMC, CHFN, Acute care Clinical Nurse Specialist who works with patients suffering from medical cardiology in a 56-CCU bed variable staffing Karen Since 1996, she has been a nurse and spent 26 years caring for patients with heart disease. Karen Also, she devoted 10 years of her professional career to management and administration of cardiovascular programs. Her passion for excellence at the bedside is apparent in her daily practice.
