Over the centuries, people have understood that a strong identity is both a keel, and a compass, as we navigate the seas of our lives, keeping us in direction and stability despite weather and currents. However, if you’re not confident in your own abilities,-concept is poorly constructed, it won’t work very well in storms, and may steer you onto the rocks. f. Free of self-The consequences of egotism include arrogance, importance, and all other negative effects.
Your Self-concept is a generalization.-The beliefs you hold about yourself will determine what type of person you are. It’s not a single thing; it’s composed of many different qualities or abilities (tenacity, intelligence, kindness, etc.).
You can choose from your vast collection of memories and future forecasts to identify experiences that have a particular quality and then gather them together into an internal mental structure.
As your name says, so is your self-concept goes through time and across contexts. It will change over time and space in a wide range of ways, sometimes in surprising ways.
Since it’s a process that describes itself, it’s self-referential and self-Generate a feed-Go forward!-Self-organized system that creates itself.-reinforcing.
Since it’s only one of many possible generalizations that you could make from your wealth of memories and forecasts, it can always be changed to another one that works better. Understanding your self’s detailed structure-Concept allows us to make simple changes that will improve the way it works.

Why pay for streaming video when you could get the exact same information in book form?
This question has many answers. It is much more enjoyable to learn from live trainings than from books.
