Executive function deficits are a common problem in children and adolescents. They often have trouble with time management, organization, prioritizing, task management, and self-management.-regulation and working memory. You can also add ADHD, specific learning disorders, autism spectrum disorder and the common co-morbidities of these disorders, executive functions are specifically impaired and these children are often at risk for academic underachievement and socialization/behavioral difficulties.
