Nancy Moline, RN, M.Ed., CDE, More than 25 years experience in diabetes management. She is a consultant in diabetes nursing and recognized the importance of hospital nurses being better equipped to manage issues related to glucose and insulin control. Nancy The program was designed for bedside nursing and resulted a decreased incidence of hypoglycemia as well as insulin errors. In addition, she coordinated the implementation of a program to manage diabetes chronic conditions for a large HMO and trained nurses to be diabetes care managers.
Nancy Is a published author whose work includes this article “Diabetes Management in a Health Maintenance Organization: Efficacy of Care Management using group Cluster visits” In the Diabetes Care Journal. She has also been a past recipient of the Kaiser Permanente Northern California research award. Diabetes Clinic for Cooperative Care Nancy Presents on the national stage and is a regular speaker for the UCSF Program “Becoming a Diabetes Educator.”
Mary Ann Rosa, MSN and GNP-BC, CDE, She is a Board Certified Gerontological Nursing Practitioner, specializing in Geriatrics. Since 1996, she has been involved with geriatric care as both a nurse practitioner and associate professor at a community college in NY. Mary Ann Published articles on the management of disease in older adults and developed three community programs for managing disease.
Mary Ann She speaks to a variety of audiences on topics related the older adult, both locally and nationally. She has given presentations at local events, including post-Long-term care facilities, graduate medicine, and many hospitals and universities.
