If you are aware of these rules, you won’t feel lost if you experience nausea or headaches during fasting. You’ll have no doubts as to when and where to utilize enemas for intestinal cleansing.
You’ll be able to figure out whether fasting is contraindicated in your case, and when you start, you’ll know when to break the fast. You won’t risk by eating salt and butter during the refeeding period.
It is important to be familiar with the rules and practices of fasting in order to get positive results. Many of the rules are described in Sergey Filonov’s book were developed by Soviet doctors in the 1960s-90s.
In order to promote fasting as an alternative treatment, the Ministry of Health Care of the USSR carried out extensive research. The Ministry developed manuals for doctors not trained in fasting based on the findings of its research. These manuals provided detailed guidelines and recommendations about how to use this method for various clinical purposes. Dry Researchers made many discoveries during this period, including fasting (fasting without drinking water). It drew the scientists’ interest as a way to shorten the duration of classic water fasting. One is all that’s needed to achieve the desired effect.-The time wet fasting course should last between 2.5- 4 weeks. That is a very long period of time for a patient in hospital.
Research into dry fasting conducted in the early 1990s, demonstrated its high efficiency – the result of one day of dry fasting approximately equals that of 3 days of wet fasting. This result allowed for a significant decrease in the treatment time. The combined method – 3 days of dry fasting followed by 10-14 days of wet fasting – has been used in clinical practice since the 1990s. A second surprising fact was also discovered. Dry fasting, contrary to popular belief, is more easily tolerated than wet. This was a huge breakthrough for intermittent fasting. The 5:2 and 6:1 dry fasts could be switched easily, allowing them to have more time for social activities without having to sacrifice the effectiveness of fasting.
Doctor Filonov Since approximately 25 years, Dr. Has used dry fasting in clinical practice. He was inspired by the experiences with 1 to 3.-Soviet doctors discovered day dry fasts and improved it by increasing the fast’s duration to 11 days. This book is for anyone who wants to try dry fasting, or has used it before. It contains all the required recommendations and rules, some of which are based on the conclusions of scientific works conducted in the 1990s, and others –on the author’s own experience in his clinical work.
“20 Questions and Answers about Dry Fasting” This book is the only one that gives detailed instructions for dry fasts of different durations. While there are scientific publications and recommendations that can be used to dry fast for as long as 3 days, the details of longer fasting periods have remained terra incognita.
Dr. Filonov’s book is of interest as a pioneering work in this field, even if it does not aspire to a status of scientific work. We hope the book will not only be a delight for fasting enthusiasts, but also spark interest in scientists who may conduct additional research on this topic.
