ABOUT THE PRESSURER
Vivien Rosina Mudgett, MSN, MA, RN, Registered Nurse Since over 30 years. She has risen up the ranks from staff nurse to charge, supervisor, manager or director, and finally to administrator. She founded the Healthcare Leadership Coalition to mentor and coach nurses who are trying to navigate the rocky waters of healthcare reform. Vivien It was the same as when she began her career as a nurse leader. Today, nurses are promoted based on their clinical skills. However, they are often not given any preparation for the work ahead.
Vivien’s authenticity as an active leader in the industry is further strengthened by being an active member in many national organizations, including The American Organization of Nurse Executives, American Nurses Association, and Honor Society of Sigma Theta Tau. Her passion for healthcare and insight on the topic has been heard by many hospitals and industry groups over many years.
