Only 8 years agoAs an investigative journalist, I was overworked and stressed. I published hundreds of articles and front-Over 200,000 people read page covers in the United States.

I was involved in digging up political scandals, and helping to shed light on important issues. Although the job as an investigative journalist was initially exciting, it became dull after a while.

I was working too hard for too little money, and in my heart I knew I wasn’t making the meaningful impact I was born for.

My most groundbreaking cover stories attracted attention for a week but ultimately didn’t change the world. They simply ended up as the lining on someone’s pet cage the week after they were published.

I was exhausted And stressed out working under constant deadlines. I was experiencing dark circles under my eyes and hair falling out. Collapse with fatigue Evenings after work

I felt so bad that I went to the doctor. I was suffering from a severe liver disease, which was draining my energy.

This was a loud wake-up call.

I realized I couldn’t keep up my high-pressure lifestyle… and I was struck by the value of every moment.

The big “A-HA” It happened during my yoga class when I was in the downward dog position.

I prayed for inspiration. That moment I heard a clear voice within my head. “You don’t have to be a journalist anymore. Take a medical leave and find a new career.”

My body felt flooded with relief. This new idea was unfamiliar and scary…but liberating. I knew that there was a better, happier, and healthier life for me.

Soon after I woke up from my yoga mat, I was at a seminar on business management led by Sharla Jacobs of Thrive Academy.

They showed me a new direction in my life.

Many coaches and holistic practitioners started asking me for help with marketing messages. This made me realize that my writing skills were needed in a larger context. I realized I could own my own business and offer irresistible writing courses for entrepreneurs.

My passion for life began to rekindle and I knew that this was the right choice for me. I was eager to help more people and make more money from my gifts. To start my own business, I decided to take a big leap of faith and sign up for a $10,000 training course.
