I’ll tell you more about the course in a moment…
But first, let me assure you:
I have made almost every mistake in the book
Prior to creating and consulting courses, I was a forensic accountant. This involved investigating financial institutions for sanctions violations.
Excel and SQL were used to manage project data, hundreds of thousands of transactions which we would analyse for the legal team.
The unique identifier column of the Excel master Excel dataset was not visible to me at one point. These unique IDs have been removed from all sorts and filters.
I panicked when I realized that the ID numbers were completely out of sync. with The data was not available for reference.
(Thankfully, I was able to create a new unique identifier based on the data, and use that to retrieve the IDs from an older copy of the dataset, where they weren’t messed up.)
The valuable lesson I learned was to be careful with We discuss data management and maintaining a good audit trail throughout the course.
It was also around this time that I realized how valuable solid data and spreadsheet skills were, and I’ve taken every opportunity to further my skills since then.
Fast forward to today
I am a writer and creator of online courses. with data, with Particular attention is given to how-Learn data analytics and create dashboards with these articles Google SheetsApps Script Data Studio.
Seit Mitte-2015, I’ve been working as a freelance spreadsheet developer, data consultant and instructor.

The missing piece
This is my third premium course in data analysis.
It bridges the gap between the data cleansing course and dashboard reporting courses that hundreds of students have taken to learn the entire data analysis process.
Earlier this year I ran a couple of webinars about the QUERY function (which features in this data analysis course), and here’s what some folks were saying about my other Google Sheets Training courses
Josh wanted to be data analyst. To help his career grow, he took a Data Analysis course.
Josh was one my first students. Data Analysis General Assembly class that I taught in Washington, DC. (In that course I taught data analysis basics with Excel was not my first choice, but the topics were very similar to what I teach now. Google Sheets.)
He has a masters in predictive analytics and is now a fully-fledged data scientist, just three years after his graduation. Wow!
Anyway, I won’t say anymore, I’ll let Josh tell his story.
