Q: Who are you guys anyway?
We are Dave LindahlCraig Picard and Don Goff.
Since I was a burnt child, I have been a real-estate investor for 14 years.-Landscapers who live in one-Living in a bedroom apartment furnished with fleabags and cooking TV dinners.
When I heard about real estate investing, I simply couldn’t do it the “conventional” way because I didn’t have any money! Through lots of experimentation, I found ways to make money without having to invest any money.
About a third of one billion dollars worth real estate is now mine in the U.S.
Craig Picard, Don Goff and I first met several years back. Craig was a “road warrior” For large companies, this meant leaving work in the dark each morning and returning home in the darkness. He got really sick of working so hard for someone else’s business.
He was also tired of waiting for the next corporate shakeup, the next layoffs or the next bureaucrat.-Headquarters orders are being driven down.
Don Goff had been trained as an engineer while he was still in high school. He was also a crazy inventor.-Hard work ethic and the ability to hold down three jobs at once. Craig and Don have been friends since 4th grade.
They eventually talked about how to get out of the first cycle of sleep/work.
Craig says: “We tried all sorts of courses and every technique we could find. We’ve made more mistakes than I can keep track of. But over time we refined our approach into a system that worked for deal after deal.”
Craig and Don visited one of my events, and we had a great conversation. We found out that together, we have done close to 1,000 deals. That’s one thousand deals worth of experience.
