Les Mills Combat
For Christmas, my twin sis and me bought the program together. Side note: You know you have a problem with fitness when you give gifts like programs. I started the program in the new year. It was completed last week.
After doing TurboFire for many years and having just completed P90X, I was ready to make a change. I enjoyed the Combat I got this video with my PUMP series. It was so exciting to get the chance to do it.
The first few days were difficult. It’s always important to remember that when you’re staring a new program, it will take time to adjust to the moves, timing and sequences. I, thinking I was all fitness queen, didn’t watch the how to videos. BIG MISTAKE. I took the second class and popped this one in right away. I don’t know if anyone else likes to get the most of their workouts, but I DO!!! I wanted to make sure that I was doing the correct moves.
The complete package was delivered when I ordered. I received a lot of DVDs including the arms and legs. The variety of this program is amazing! It is not as high intensity on the legs as some of the other DVDs i’ve done. It is still hard though! These videos made my biceps sweat like never before! My favorite one… the live 60! That one is my favorite!!
I enjoyed the HIITS as well. It took me some time to master them but I enjoyed the challenge. How is Dan able to do so many Plyo Lunges in such a short time? After a workout, my hammies still feel like bricks. The group was varied and interesting. I never felt like I couldn’t do it. As i mentioned, I started to challenge my self. I was determined to do at least 10 tuck jumps and burpees by the end.

My abs are the one thing I noticed. They’re amazing. “popped” This series is 60 days long. It really does make a difference to twisting. I loved how I discovered techniques that were not available to me. “skipping over” In my previous kickboxing workouts. I started doing TurboFire again and I noticed that it’s a lot harder because now i’m more focused on my form! Technique can completely change a program or more regardless of what you’re doing.
In terms of calendar, I followed it to a T. I added a few days of legs and abs in with it as well. It includes lots of planks which makes the abs video great. Planks, by far, are the most effective ab exercises. This exercise really forces you to use all of your core. That’s the one thing I really wanted to work on in this workout was my love handles and back bulge. I didn’t focus that much on my back during P90X, well lower back, and i noticed that pocket over my jeans. I don’t have that anymore. My core is stronger than I ever imagined.
Abs can be achieved in the kitchen, however. I followed an entirely Clean diet. For extra health and nutrition, I ate lots of lean proteins and greens. Every morning, I had my Shakeology muffin!
The cost was lower than other Beachbody programs. This was definitely possible for my bank account!

I would recommend this program 100%! PLUS, who DOESN’T LOVE TO LISTEN TO ACCENTS!!!!!!!!
