This course has received the most requests than any other.
It has been over 5 years in development before it was finally released.
This course will provide the answer. “where do I put this piece of paper/digital file?”
There is a special technical word for this type of organization…it’s called an ontology.
An ontology can be described as a way to organize ideas into a hierarchy.
An example of an Ontology is how a supermarket organizes all its food products. Amazon’s organization of its millions of products into different categories is an example. Or the Dewey Decimal system which organizes the hundreds and millions of published books into categories.
Problem is, many people don’t have an exhaustive system for organizing personal information.
It’s why so many people have requested it over the years.
This course includes a hierarchy that was custom-designed and tested to help you manage all major areas of your life. “Miscellaneous” Oder “uncategorizable.”
These are the four areas:
1. Your business/career
2. Your personal life
3. Your relationships
4. Your health
*Note, personal life is stuff related to managing your home or apartment, your finances, technology, property (both intellectual and physical), vehicles, education, and other things like that.
You will find hundreds upon hundreds of folders and other subfolders for any task you might throw at the system.
I should also mention a bit more about the research that went into this.
To make this organizing system, I researched more than 100 other systems. I took the best and best from every area of your lives and created an organization system to manage them.
If you look at the systems of others, there will be certain areas that are organized well because the creator spends a lot time on that particular area. Then, other areas will be less organized. It won’t be found here. This system is well balanced.
Also, this system will give you a TON of mental clarity on your life in general, as a side effect.
Your mind is a reflection on how well you organize your information. A well-organized mind is key to mental clarity.
A well-organized mind can help you handle more. You can take on one new project, handle 100 things, and manage them all effortlessly.
You also have peace of mind. There is no need to worry anymore about your safety. “unknown unknown” This is one of the greatest problems in creating a system by yourself.
It’s impossible to tell if something is missing or forgotten. This could lead to you having to reassess your actions.-Reinstall your entire system and do it again later.-Organise everything.
For those of us who have completed Vol. 1, Information Inboxes:
You can capture any digital or paper item into inboxes. Files on your computer and paper, as well as mail and email. You also have web research, notes and files in OneNote. This course will teach you how to sort your inboxes into their final locations in your information reference system.
This revolutionary system doesn’t force anyone to organize all their information immediately. Batch processing allows you to manage all of your information in a more efficient way that is less time-consuming and more productive than if you had to do it every day, whether at work or at home.
This system also works in parallel with your computer’s file cabinet system.
It doesn’t matter if a file has been printed or is digital only. It’s the same way to find it and it will be exactly the same. “place.”
Oh, and another thing.
Another set of courses will be offered that use the same method to organize your OBJECTS.
This system can also be used in tandem with the previous one. You are actually getting a system to organize all of your physical objects.
To be a little more theoretical.
There are two types of things that you can organize. There are two types of organizing. “property.”
Information is intellectual property. (All information created is automatically copyrighted even if it’s not filed. Some IP is licensed to you, like this course, but you don’t “own” You own it the same way that you own the notes taken on this course.
Physical property. Physical property refers to all objects that surround you, not just your apartment/home. The earth is also a very large object.
You can organize anything you like in either of these two categories. You can organize books, CDs and hard drives as well as Kindles and printed pieces of paper. Although they are physical objects, they can be used primarily to represent symbols you can identify as people. A bad book can be used as a door stopper or paper weight but it is not the primary purpose.
This course originally covered digital information. However, it has been extended to include all physical objects other than symbols like books, your mail and papers that you print (and moleskine notes, sticky notes and any other items you can think of).
This course will change your life. You will feel more confident in your data and have a greater sense of control.
If I had to go back to before I knew anything about accelerated learning, before I knew anything about how to be organized or how to be productive, this is the one thing I would bring with me. It is so valuable.
Enjoy the course, and I’ll be there with you.
