Over 50 years I have been a stock trader and more than 20 years ago, an avid options trader. Every Saturday, I would open the newspaper and look for the best Return Covered calls. This process could take several hours. First, I needed to locate stocks that looked promising. Then, I had to identify the best options. Finally, I needed to calculate the best returns.

I thought, “There has to be a better way.” My colleague and me had an idea in 1997. We thought it would be a good idea to use the power and flexibility of the Internet to gather data and run calculations. To do this, we created a website. The site was a better way to search for the best options than using the newspaper. I was so happy that I gave it to other traders and let the site be used by them.

It was so successful that I decided to open the web site up to the public…and PowerOptions was born. 

We have built a winning team that supports and continues to develop the PowerOptions tools and strategies since 1997. Our award-winning web site now has over 150 pages and covers 23 of the most common option strategies. PowerOptions was reviewed and praised by many industry professionals, including Forbes, AAII and Active Trader Magazine. Nightly Business Report and New York Post are just a few. 

PowerOptions’ innovative technology has earned us patents from the US Patent and Trade Office in 1997, 2007, 2010, and 2012.

We took over OptionFind.com’s operation in 2000. This site has similar search engine capabilities to ours. 

Many subscribers shared their love for the system but struggled to find time to do their own research. We should offer an advisory newsletter service, they suggested. We released such a service under the name PowerOptionsApplied.com in 2005. Our expertise and patented tools are used to find, publish, manage and monitor great option trades. We currently offer Covered Calls as well as Diagonal Spreads and Iron Condors. There are more strategies available.

In 2005, our first publication was published in the options education field. Covered Calls, Aggressive Strategies for the Conservative Investor is an online course. The course includes a 130-page book and DVD. It also contains a workbook that will help new option traders understand the basics of Covered Calls, the most popular trading strategy. The course includes two months of PowerOptions online subscription for free.

In 2008, we released our second and third publications to compliment our self-study covered calls kit… Naked Puts: Power Strategies for Consistent Profits is a beginner level text that illustrates the details of using cash secured puts to acquire stock at a discount and generate income. This book covers the fundamentals of the strategy, from understanding the theory to entering a new trade and all aspects of trade management.

Protective Option Strategies – Married Puts and Collars provides reliable strategies to provide insurance and consistent income, especially in times of financial uncertainty and financial crisis. Topics of discussion include tips on entering protective strategies and the theories behind them, as well as selecting the right stocks and proper protective combinations for investing in today’s volatile market.

We also bought the RadioActive rights in 2008. Trading methodology. This investment strategy is one of many that investors have the option to use. However, trading is an entirely different proposition. “RadioActively” Investors have a great opportunity to make money while also keeping their capital. The RadioActiveTrading.com site offers plenty of educational materials to get any investor with any experience level into options trading with the ammunition he needs to be successful. Investors can learn the method and then either implement it themselves using the PowerOptions tools or watch the RadioActive trading team as they publish trades to FUSION subscribers.

Our fourth educational text was published in 2010 and is our most recent. Iron Condor: A Neutral Strategy for Uncommon Gain. The concepts, ideas, rules-of-thumb and real-world examples presented in the text have been gleaned from the PowerOptionsApplied newsletter’s successful trading of the strategy. You can learn from the PowerOptionsApplied newsletter, and use the lessons to profitably invest in the Iron Condor strategy. This text provides examples of real-world trading strategies, real-world profits, and mistakes. It also discusses how to optimally trade Iron Condors.
