Since 1996, he has been involved in systematic trading and portfolio management. He was primarily interested in trading the global futures market, using a systemic, low leveraged, and highly diversified trading method. As a Commodity Trader Trading Advisor (CTA), Drew traded 40 individual futures market across eight sectors.  Drew was a featured speaker at Bloomberg Markets New York in London and New York, and is featured in the book as an industry expert. “A Visual Guide to Hedge Funds” Published by Bloomberg Wiley.  He is also an active participant in proprietary trading. Brian Strong

Vice President and Head Development

Brian Strong is the Head of Development and VP at Base Camp Trading.  Brian has had a varied 20-year career in software engineering, working on projects that range from mobile gaming to software for hedge funds. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Biological Sciences.

Dave Aquino

Portfolio Manager and Pro Trader

Dave Aquino, a professional trader, has over 20+ years experience in real estate.-World experience as a portfolio manager and trader. He began his career at Merrill Lynch, and later moved to Vanguard Asset Management, where he managed assets in excess of $650 million. His focus was on options income strategies. He is also a Vanderbilt University graduate.  Dave is a partner at Base Camp Trading She specializes in helping clients learn how to trade options to earn income. Thomas Wood

Hedge Fund Manager and Pro Trader

Thomas Wood, a professional trader, has more than 12 years experience trading the markets. This includes both as a manager of hedge funds and personally. Thomas started his career in wealth management, then established a hedge funds at 26. After that, he settled down as a MicroQuant head trader. Thomas is a Partner at Base Camp Trading Tradesmanship and understanding the global market is what he specializes in.-The most well-known price action trading strategies. Thomas also creates machine learning-based, quantitative, and behavioral trading systems.

John Osborn

Trading Analyst and Instructor

John Osborn is a very versatile man at Base Camp. Trading. You will see him in the trading rooms as a trading analyst, instructor and trader. John is also a trading analyst and instructor. He creates strategies and documentation for clients and BCT members to help them find trading opportunities that are in line with our trading strategy. John is a software engineer, trader, with over 20 years of trading expertise. He has also worked as a project manager and manager at a large pharmaceutical corporation.
