Vantagepointtrading – Stock Market Swing Trading Video Course
The Stock Market Swing Trading Video Course This course provides everything that both new and experienced swing traders will need to efficiently and effectively trade stocks. This course teaches you how to analyze price charts and focuses on the key metrics that matter. Several strategies are revealed that stand the test of time, and work whether prices go up or down. It covers everything you need to know about the stock market: how to locate trades, place orders, size your position, and manage risk. These lessons show how to win a large percentage of trades while keeping your winning trades larger than your losing trades.
Concentrate on these strategies and get proficient at implementing them. Then, go back to the basics. Swing trading, which involves placing trades that last from a few days to a few months, is very easy to do. You only need to spend around 20 minutes a day finding trades and then implementing them. You simply watch the stock price change on the chart and then buy or sell it as the strategies direct.
The Stock Market Swing Trading Course is produced by Cory Mitchell, a Chartered Market Technician (CMT)Member of the Market Technicians Association, Canadian Society of Technical Analysts And by extension, the International Federation of Technical Analysts. He was made a full-time employee.-Time trader 2005
Here’s a bit more about him: I worked for six years as a proprietary trader for a trading firm(s), doing one of the toughest jobs on the planet (also the most fun)–extracting profit every single month; if I didn’t make a profit, I didn’t get paid (no salary, everything was dependent on performance). These are stock strategies forged by relentless dedication to trading, and tens of thousands of trading hours and trades. In 2011 I moved my focus to trading independently and helping others by sharing what I’ve learned. I freelance (write) for, and have been vetted by, some of the largest financial sites in the world, including TheBalance, Stock & Commodities magazine and Investopedia, among others.
Each section of the course is broken down. Each section includes an educational component where you will be guided through a PowerPoint presentation. Then there is a component where charts are used to show how the information is applied.
The Things You’ll Learn from the Stock Market Swing Trading Video Course

The strategy’s goal is to produce 3% to 7% per monthly on average. The leverage, number and win rates of trades, as well as the average reward:risk ratio can all be adjusted to adjust the results. These variables are covered in the course.

Hi
Please send me the following information about the “Stock Market Swing Trading Video Course”.
1.Can this same course be used to swing trade Indian stocks?

Although the concepts can be used in any stock market, this course focuses on scanning for US and Canadian stocks. In order to search for trade setups in India, you need to locate a scanner. TradingView appears to work (with India stock market data).

Hello Cori, I rate you site very highly, most generous & informative (i wouldn’t just say that, have waded though tons of rubble to get here).
While I haven’t yet traded, I have started to research swing trading.-Trading and liking your presentation of the course.
I have two questions:
1) Do you have any information about monitoring ‘Level2’ Data included? (have you heard that it is quicker and more directly – used by ‘pros’, ‘orderbook’ etc)…
2) I have also seen your ebook on swing trading and forex, but I would like to get started. ‘swing’ I wonder if they are able to do it? Video Course You can also learn a lot from the material. ‘Forex’ concepts?
We are grateful for your assistance.

Hi Pete.
Level 2 information is not available. It is irrelevant for the strategies described.
You can use the methods taught in this course for any market that has these patterns, but we only discuss examples from the stock market.
Cheers,

Cory!
I have some questions before I make the purchase of your products. Swing Trading course.
1. What is the best way to get in touch with you if there are any questions during the course? Do you have a chat area or somewhere I can ask questions and get answers?
2. Do you answer my questions and help me with real trades once I have completed the course?
3. Are you planning to create a forum where traders can ask questions and exchange ideas?
Thanks,
VJ

Hi VJ
The best way of asking for a course-You can ask related questions in the comments. I respond usually within a day or so. Although there is no forum or chat room, it is an idea. We will discuss this possibility with the tech team. As of now, however, there is no plan for a forum.
Personal trading advice cannot be provided. I can’t legally tell you whether to take a trade or not. If you can give me a few examples, I can tell you what I see and whether or not it is a good strategy. Since personal mentoring is not available in the course fees, this would only cover a few examples. To share an example, please upload a screenshot with your comments/analysis and attach it to any cloud-Copy the link to the chart from your cloud storage provider.

We appreciate your kind words. Do you also explain the course using real trade examples? Or are slides all that is used? I’m looking for tutorials that include real trade examples and entry/exit criteria.

Yes, there are lots of trade examples. Each section begins with a slide and then moves to the charts to show examples. Then it goes back to the slides and the examples. This section explains exactly how to enter and exit as well as the order in which to use them.

I’m wondering if after consolidation breakout entry and you get a sharp false breakout against you, do you ever reduce size or perhaps exit the position early? Or do you prefer to set it and forget? Thanks.

If I expect the price of my stock to rise quickly in my favour, but it instead moves strongly against me, then I may reduce my loss early because I was wrong.
Download it immediately Vantagepointtrading – Stock Market Swing Trading Video Course
BUT, this doesn’t apply to every trade. You can look through your demo and live trades to find the one that works for you. Before each trade, I decide how I will exit. A rounded bottom means that the price moves in a more choppy fashion. I am aware it might take some time for the price move in my favor so I allow the trade some space. Take a look at the price action to determine whether you are willing to allow the trade some room or cut it quickly if the price moves against you. That plan should be followed for this trade.
Use the set if you are unsure–Do not approach.

Cory, how long is it to screen stocks for swing trading? Your course teaches you how to use ThinkorSwim and TC2000 stock screenser.

Hi Will
I limit my scans to around 20 minutes per night. The individual can choose how often they scan and trade. You can scan every night. However, scanning only 1 to 3 times per week is enough. I typically scan only one or two nights per week.
Thinkorswim works fine. I don’t discuss TC2000. However, you could use it (or Thinkorswim scanner), if you wish.
I will only be discussing screening software that is available free of charge to all. StockRover and Finviz are the best options. StockFetcher is also covered.

Cory!
You’ve often spoken about the minimums that are required to successfully use your course. I’ve seen many articles by yours in which you clearly stated the fact that you will reach a market cap. This is where larger capital investments require modifications to trading methods, and a significant increase in time investment.
Given the above, how large would you think an average trader could manage to use your swing trading techniques effectively, while still maintaining an average of 10% monthly returns?
1) They only follow the basics you taught them in your course?
2) They implement simple, yet experientially based, tweaks without making it too difficult or time-consuming. They follow your instructions to develop a personal tried-and-trued, proven strategy that they can use to trade regularly. This is in addition to your method and their psychological risk profile.
I am only asking because I have been working on a 10-year trading and investment plan. This includes short, medium, and long-term investments. I also have plans for property investment portfolios for rental and resale. I have been trying setting a budget for swing and forex trading. If their accounts reach $200,000, then excess funds will be automatically directed to longer-term investments.
put into a “picture” As an example, I see a pyramid of champagne glasses. The first glass is the most profitable, but also the smallest, and spilling onto the next larger level (cap to swing trade), spilling onto the next level (to trade shares), spilling over to the next level (to trade options), the next level to invest dividend stocks (still using options to get intot and out) as well as investment properties for resale and finally, into the final level of long-term stocks, bonds, and rental properties. “spill” What I would consider my true monthly income. Thus each level of champagne glasses can only accommodate a maximum market cap before their risk/ return becomes inefficient and hence needs to spill out and be better employed in the next and it is these ” champagne glass levels” or maximum market caps that I am trying to realistically and honestly budget.
Many thanks for the extremely informative and helpful articles.
Mark

Good questions…and very good you have a plan _x0001F642_
Expecting 10%/month is quite high. I will show you how to make between 3% and 5% each month in the course. You can tweak this by using leverage or increasing the win rate, talking about higher risk:reward trades or more trades, as well as using leverage.
I talk mainly about the “caps” It is important to note that trading 100K or 1 or 2million units can be different from trading a billion. Often people hear about short-They are able to make large returns as term traders, although they don’t believe it is possible since most hedge funds earn less than 15% annually. Trading a million dollars and trading a billion is a completely different game. This is my main point.
Swing trading will become more difficult at $3million, which is a rough estimate. This course will cover two methods of sizing positions. Typically, the capital in an account is spread over 5-10 trades. However, it is recommended that you have at least 10 trades for this amount. With a $3M account, this means that you can take $300K of stock each time you trade. Now that is super easy on a stock like Netflix ($316 currently)…just grab 1000 shares. There’s a lot of volume. You will need to buy 30,000 shares if you find a $10 stock with great trading opportunities. This stock must be large enough to allow you to buy all of the shares at the price you desire.
Trading stocks that are more expensive and stocks that have a lot of volume can help to alleviate this problem. You will likely need to push volume and price requirements higher if you have more capital. This, however, reduces the opportunities that you’ll find. Spreading the capital among more trades is another option. Say 15 or 20…that way less capital is flowing into each stock making it easier to accumulate the shares required. Here again, we have a bit of a problem though…it is much harder to find 20 good trades than it is to find 5 or 10.
So up to a million or two isn’t too bad, then after that you likely need to start restricting your screening criteria quite a bit and making some sacrifices. You could then start putting more money towards longer projects.-term term trades…per the plan you talked about.
Each trader’s situation is unique. If you trade only high volume high price stocks, you may be able increase your trading limit. This being said, most people would love to have this problem.

We appreciate your help.
After reading your previous articles, I was only able to mention an average of 10%. “how much can day traders expect to make” It was. You suggested that successful and experienced traders could earn around 15% Forex trading, 10% swing trading, and the rest. “good traders” You could earn around 20% per month
I don’t expect to jump to the top of the heap overnight but I am prepared to do whatever it takes to get there and some one once told me that the ultimate levels of achievement in any field of endeavor are really no different between any two given people but that quite simply one of the two may have to put in a hell of a lot more effort and blood sweat and tears to get there.
Thank you for your advice. Trading should not be about making money, but about profit. “lifestyle” However, you must understand that I need a bit of both. My drive is unstoppable and I cannot be distracted by the lucrative oil industry job like many of my friends. lol) so that I can provide for my family and not view it as a second income.
I’d love to have that luxury but as a 56 year old white male in South Africa I have endured nearly fifteen years of doors closing in my face in the name of Affirmative Action and I am therefore utterly determined to take what little talent or intellect I may or may not have and sweat as many hours, days, nights, weeks, months and upcoming years to master trading to the very best of my ability so that I can once again be able to really give my family what they deserve in terms of a solid, secure home and support.
I have done all I can to learn as much as I can using very little money on the internet. I have gone through hundreds of documents over the past three years. “miracle millionaire makers” I have looked at a lot of websites and tried a few, but I’ve narrowed down my search to Tim Sykes, Jason Bond and Marcello Ambriedes. Bill Poulos and a Timon Rossilimo from South Africa are all good choices. Your articles and teachings remain the best.
Your advice has always been completely honest, even if it was sometimes harsh! I take your advice very seriously. I’ve tried to copy them into a basic trading tutorial. Then I try to put them into practice on a demo account. I’m slowly but surely making progress and won’t stop until I do. I will not take any risk until I’m certain that I can consistently and proficiently make a profit on the demo accounts, as per your advice.
Many thanks
Mark

I wanted to thank you for all the hard work you do and the great resources you offer. Your swing trading course was recently purchased by me. I made a $500 profit in the first month on a 5k account. Two weeks in to my second month, I’m already up $1200.
The course layout is excellent and very easy to follow. I am new to trading and had difficulty understanding the course.
