It is becoming more common to use project management tools, techniques, and methodologies. This course will cover project management in the context IT Projects, including software projects. The course follows the project life cycle framework and covers all aspects of (i) project initiation and (iii), project planning and scheduling as well as (iv) project monitoring, control and termination. In this course, you will learn how to use project network and estimate time and cost for scheduling and planning projects. Next is the discussion on scheduling projects that have limited resources.
These methods include simulations and risk reduction strategies. Students will need to use @risk software to simulate project completion.
