Intermediate Art Direction & Creative Execution : 9 Week Intensive Mentorship

We’ve decided to rework Art Direction & Creative Execution Advanced Visual Storytelling
Create new Learning Paths that include all of our courses.

A small group of passionate artists are actively involved in developing mentorship opportunities and on-demand training for motion designers. Our new approach will allow us to better serve the variety of career paths and styles in our industry.

Our learning paths will start with our flagship mentorship class, (*9*). This mentorship class is the foundation of our industry. It teaches you the fundamental principles that will help you grow in the industry. This is not the time to move on. Art Direction & Creative Execution We encourage you to attend one of our more focused workshops, such as Advanced Visual Storytelling or Visual Storytelling. Motion Design is an extensive industry. We want students to choose the portfolio that best suits their career goals and makes sense.

We also have new announcements 9 Week mentorships, which include an intensive Cinema 4D introduction course.
We’ll keep you updated as we make changes to the curriculum.

Curriculum Based Mentorship

We are here to help you succeed through video training, live mentorship and projects. 9 You will need to take weeks to master the process Art Direction. Additionally, you’ll make industry connections as well as improve your portfolio through original projects.
Project-based learning
Weekly Video Training

You will receive original training that teaches technical basics while still emphasizing the art of doing good work. Interviews with leading artists in the industry are also available. Learn how to create amazing animation and design.
Live critique sessions
Weekly Live Mentorship

Live training by our mentor team for a weekly 2 hour session. All aspects of Coverage Art Direction, Design Styles and Case Studies, and 3d Pipeline Overview. The weekly live session is hosted by mentors.
Training on-demand
Weekly Written Critique

Each week you’ll receive detailed, written critique via the Frame.io media review platform. This way you can store notes and catalog the process of creating your original works.

Creative Process & Look Development
An approach to making unique visual work.

It’s not about learning a style, as much as it is about learning a creative process. In the traditional of schools like Hyper Island, we embrace the notion of creative process and discovery. This week kicks off the first of 2 style frame projects.

We encourage all beginners to start with the Introduction To Design & Animation mentorship before moving on to more advanced workshops and courses.

Through these 9 weeks, you’ll interact with a set of tools that will help you stay engaged and keep in contact with your mentors and co-students.
Live session with Zoom

We use Zoom for our live class sessions. You do not need to make an account to be able to attend a meeting. Class links will be sent to you via Discord or email. Just click the meeting link to join!
Chat with mentors in Discord
To help make each session more engaging, we use the instant message application, Discord. Using free accounts we can set-up a common chat, as well as private channels and private groups for each class.
Written critique on Frame.io
You’ll get a detailed, written critique each week via Frame.io. You can also store and track your notes, as well as catalog the creation process.
Dropbox allows you to upload your project

We use Dropbox as this program’s server. Dropbox will send you your weekly deliverables, as well as the share scene files. You will have plenty of space if you install the 2GB account.
