The Tantric Arts Collective is a space for all ages that focuses on tantric and yogic philosophy. Our mission is for all practitioners to be able to experience the Tantric Arts Collective. We also incorporate other holistic and creative modalities.

The core of The Tantric Arts Collective’s philosophy is to live our wisdom, sovereignty and experience. The core of tantra is the freedom to fully embody one’s experience, to discover one’s truth, and to share that knowledge in inclusive, dynamic spaces for mutual honoring and celebration.

The Tantric Arts Collective opposes colonized understandings that knowledge is based on information. It holds that the supreme authority has the power to give permissions and credentials. We respect the guru.-Parampara, shakti-Pat, lineage, and lineage are critical containers for the transformation process. However, we acknowledge that these concepts have been removed from their original contexts. This is evident by the huge amount of abuse which has taken place within the yoga community.

We offer a masculine alternative to the dogmatic,-Yoga-centered traditions. The Tantric Arts Collective provides a safe space for you to connect with your inner knowing. Our classes incorporate story medicine, creative modalities, meditation, mantra & classical Sanskrit chanting, and therapeutics-informed ashtanga yoga.

These practices are offered in an open, collaborative environment.-Dogmatically. Our community is post-Theo Wildcroft defines lineage as the following:

“Post-lineage yoga moves beyond a single lineage or teacher as the sole authority for yoga, and turns instead to peer networks and sanghas to decide the practice. It overlaps with both commodified, secular yoga and the yoga of lineage.”

This definition is what we use to refer to our classes and sessions. We like to think of them as offering rather than teaching. We are open to questions, possibilities, choices, and experiences, rather than giving instructions or making strict rules. Our mission is support your sovereignty, connection to yourself, by encouraging you integrate, participate, synthesize and synthesize the things that feel right for you.
