Most Frequently Asked Questions
What time does the course and end?
After you register, the first lesson will open immediately. The rest of the course is spread over 12 weeks. Lessons are available every three to five days. Your pace is yours. Most students do not complete every lesson when it is given to them, but there is no time limit and no pressure to complete lessons before the next lesson becomes available. Do what you can and when you can.
Do I need to rush to finish the lessons before the current open enrollment ends?
ABSOLUTELY NO! Registering students do not have to be affected by enrollment periods. All registered students have access to the course year-round. Once you are in, you are in.
How do I know when a lesson has been opened?
Lessons are open three to four times per week. As each segment opens, an automated email is sent.
Do I have immediate access to all classes?
Sorry, no. This class is intentionally divided over twelve weeks. My experience is that students are not able to absorb too much information at once. Slowly releasing information allows students to take in and process all the material. Waiting 3-You can also practice your technique for the next segment in between each segment. This gives you 4 days to perfect it before the next segment. Be patient. It takes more than passion to learn. It also takes time.
What length of access do I have to the course?
Access for life! You will have unlimited access to each segment once it opens for you – on any device you own.
What skills is this class requiring?
This class is only for absolute beginners. No drawing skills required. You don’t need any previous experience with marker. For more information, email [email protected] Email [email protected]
Do I have to use the Marker Painting Foundations Forums?
The Forums are where you can submit your projects to receive feedback and critique. MPF Forums enhance class experience as you interact with fellow students who may be working on the exact same project as you or have finished it before and can share their tips. Learning from your instructor is not the only way to learn. You can also learn from each other.
What happens if I am missing some markers or supplies?
Although I am generally open to supply substitutions, this course is beginner-oriented and I have created a very limited supply list. I realize that beginners may not have many markers or limited resources. I have all the necessary markers, but they are only high-frequency markers. Substitutions are possible, but only with caution. For more information, email [email protected] if you have a limited marker collection or a budget concern.
What if I am not satisfied with the course?
I don’t want you unhappy. If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me within 30 days to receive a full refund.
