He has been an invited presenter at both the Psychotherapy Networker Symposium (25 years) and the Milton H. Erickson Brief Therapy Conference (25 years). Steve was a board member of the NLP Research Group that conducted a clinical study about PTSD treatment.

In preliminary clinical trials, the NLP-derived protocol Reconsolidation Of Traumatic Memories (RTM) has been shown to relieve PTSD symptoms in less that five hours. Staff from Syracuse and Fairleigh Dickenson Universities will be conducting research with veterans suffering from PTSD. This is funded by a grant from New York State. Staff from Ohio University have applied for additional research grants to study RTM PTSD Treatment Protocol.

Connirae, Steve’s wife, developed or refined many methods for PTSD treatment. Their work has been published in more than 15 languages.
