Drills
Six drills can be integrated into your daily routine to teach you the fundamentals of this claw series. These drills can help you feel more comfortable when your back is hurt. It is not always necessary to show your back, but it is important to maintain control.
You will learn how to maintain control in a variety positions and a few tricks that can help you feel more comfortable in these positions. These drills will be fun and competitive for coaches to maximize their results.
Line up
Wrestlers can gain an advantage by correctly lining up from the top position before the whistle blows. They will learn to “line up heavy” To make their opponent feel uncomfortable and distract them from their defense. This will enable you to take control and start your claw series.
The Claw
You must be able to master the intricate details of the claw move in order to turn your opponents. Dake will show you how to execute the claw tilt with a thigh pry, deep waist or wrist and the various transitions that accompany it. This video will show you how to apply the basic claw twist with a thigh poke, deep waist, or wrist, and how to make these transitions throughout the series to be an effective chain wrestler.
The Half Tilt
Sometimes, your opponent will stop your claw. In those cases, you may need to make a peripheral move. One of these moves is the half tilt. The claw tilt is very similar, but the half tilt is equally effective. Learn how to switch between the claw and the half. This simple move will give you many turn opportunities while your opponent fights the claw.
Pin Making
The half tilt will give your team big points, but sometimes those points aren’t enough. After securing back points, Dake shows you how to seal the deal. He shows you how to use a power claw against strong opponents and the step through turn when your opponent flattens.
Other tilts
