Daniel Beleza Biography:

Daniel Beleza was born on the 2nd of April, 1976 in Rio de Janeiro – Brazil. When Daniel was eight years old, he and his family moved from Rio de Janeiro to Fortaleza. It was in the North-Daniel received his initiation to Martial arts in an eastern city. He started with Kickboxing at the age of 14 and then moved on to Jiu Jitsu at age 4.

He found BJJ after many of his friends joined a gym (the Nova Uniao – CE, now named SAS) and repeatedly asked him to tag along. Daniel was a student at the Nova Uniao – CE gym. Beleza After taking his first class, he realized his true calling. Training under Carlos Pinto Sá (mostly known as “Sazinho”) Daniel’s became one of the best fighters in the state and in the country.
