Streaming Education – The whole Gold Course It’s streaming. The course is broken into 12 weekly modules, each of which are divided into four to nine minute segments. The trainees need to pass a multiple choice exam and score at least 70% to be able to move on to the next module. You can view each module as many times you need to fully grasp it, unlike a live webinar.

Live Trading Lab – On Thursdays, at mid-day, you’ll have a lab where you can put your theories into practice. This will examine your education in relation the historical and current markets. This information will also be recorded, and uploaded to the site.

Live Open Mic- A 45 minute Open Mic is included in the regular schedule. In this time, you can stop in and ask questions or remain to listen to other student’s questions. You can also record this and have it placed on the website for future reference.

Option Pit Live – Option Pit Live is our daily Midday Market Condition Report with trade selections and position management as the cover material. This session is an opportunity for trainees and traders to ask questions during market hours. Depending on market conditions, we may only cover one trade per session. The Pricing Model-The starting level for Gold Course This reveals the Option Pricing Model and the five assumptions and factors that make options move. This is the key “Pre Greeks” Level

Volatility-Understanding market volatility is a core principal at Option Pit. These are the main indicators and volatility factors that influence trading decisions.

Greeks-The Greeks help to understand the movement in option prices and provide a foundation for position management. We will start with Delta, Gamma, Rho. The second part of the Greeks course focuses upon the Gamma/Theta relation and Vega. These Greeks are used to forecast market conditions and to create advanced trade structures.

Volatility Revisited – This workshop teaches students how volatility, term structure, and skew are used in the market. Students will be able to interpret different market conditions.

Directional Trading-Directional trading is the application of all aspects of Volatility and Greeks to make the best trade selections. This allows you to stay on the right side.

Condors-Learn volatility trading using the Condor strategy Students will be able to identify the differences between a green or red light opportunity.

Butterflies-Learn about direction trading and volatility with the Butterfly strategy. This section explains what makes a butterfly a good or bad option.

Calendars-The next phase in trading volatility is to combine the Greeks with time components of the term structure in Calendar trading (Time Spread). All expiration cycles are now in the “band of opportunity”.

Trading Volatility and Option Trading is a shift away from the distinction of calls and puts. Instead, Option Volatility is seen as a strategic asset. Students learn how to harness mean reversion in trading volatility for both long and short-gamma trades.

VIX-Understanding the VIX is Option Pit’s core competency. The VIX product, VIX futures and VIX ETN’s, structure and strategies are covered in the depth.

This advanced session teaches you how to trade option options and own premium. You will learn how to manage a position by only focusing on the Greeks.
