Jonathan Rose began his career at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in 1998. Jonathan was a pioneer of computer-based trading. He played a major role in providing liquidity. to The young Globex market. He was recruited after five years of trading Nasdaq futures. to Join a fixed income trading firm that is tech-focused.

Starting in 2003 to Jonathan was one the four Senior Partners of a Chicago-based proprietary trading firm. He was 6th employee at the firm, and then ascended to Senior Partner. to He was the Director of Futures Trading, where he was responsible to all aspects of proprietary trading. Jonathan managed and built a large trading team (15+) and was responsible to oversee the performance of the trading floor (60+). Jonathan trained over 30 traders in every aspect of Fixed Income trading.

Jonathan joined a private Family Office, or Hedge Fund, in the Chicago suburbs. Jonathan has worked with the firm’s investment team designing and implementing a pair trading investment strategy that focuses on Closed End Funds. He is also a promoter and supporter of other strategies within our firm with a focus in business development. Jonathan received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami in 1997. He is a Level 2 CFA candidate for 2015.

Jonathan completed the Madison Ironman in 2011. He also ran 4 marathons in the last four years. He enjoys spending his spare time with his beautiful wife, their two sons, and his guitar.
