Jonathan Rose started his career at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in 1998. Jonathan Rose was a pioneer in computer-based trading and helped to provide liquidity for the Globex market’s young participants. After five years trading Nasdaq Futures, Jonathan was recruited to join an technology-focused Fixed Income trading company.

Jonathan Rose began his career at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in 1998. Jonathan Rose, a pioneer in computer-based trading, was an integral part of providing liquidity to the Globex young market. After five years trading Nasdaq Futures, Jonathan was recruited to join an technology-focused Fixed Income trading company.

Jonathan was one the four Senior Partners of a Chicago-based proprietary trading firm from 2003 to 2010. As the 6th employee, he was promoted to Director of Futures Trading. This position saw him responsible for all aspects related to proprietary trading. Jonathan was responsible for the management of a large number of traders (more than 15) and the overall performance of the trading floors (60+ traders). Jonathan trained more than 30 traders in Fixed Income trading.

Jonathan was an Equity Options Market Maker at the CBOE from 2010 to 2013. He managed his own portfolio and traded over 100 stocks simultaneously.

Jonathan joined a private Family Office, or Hedge Fund, in the Chicago suburbs. Jonathan has worked with the firm’s investment team designing and implementing a pair trading investment strategy that focuses on Closed End Funds. He is also a promoter and supporter of other strategies within our firm with a focus in business development. Jonathan graduated from University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in 1997. He is currently a Level 2 CFA Candidate.

Jonathan finished the Madison Ironman in 2011 and 4 Marathons over the past 4 years. He enjoys spending his spare time with his beautiful wife, their two boys and his guitar.
