Fast forward one calendar year to January 2016. RankXL was a 6-Figure business making just over $130,000 in annual sales

Six months later, it crossed the $180,000 threshold.

This is what I love to tell people.

Why?

It’s not to brag. Because they make assumptions.

They thought that I had tons traffic.

The truth is that I never even considered SEO for RankXL. I did not pay attention to the growth of the blog during the first six months. I published blog posts only twice per month.

It was really a hobby side project, with very little priority.

When I launched my first product, my blog only received 80 to 100 visitors per days.
