You have full control. No one can take it off you if you accidentally break someone else’s rules. You can also grow it and make it more profitable in the direction that you choose.
High “Return on Time” Many of our students set up their sites with just an hour each day. Weekends are a bit more difficult. Our business model is not one that requires a 60-hour workweek or large teams to be successful.

First, there’s a lot of information out there about how to build such a business.

Are you receiving more of these email than I do? Hot tip: I filter all of these emails to a different folder so they don’t appear every day.

There are many blog posts, forum threads, emails, and Facebook posts on the internet. Each has a better technique that you must use to make more online.

You end up feeling like you’re doing a full time job just trying to keep up with it all!

Months can pass, and if you ask yourself what you’ve accomplished, it can be hard to find an answer.

For two, the constant advertising and marketer emails make you feel like you’re always missing out on something.

They allow you to hop around from one thing and then another.

Perhaps you have heard of the term “shiny object syndrome”? Frustration Consistency is the key to success in any online business. But this rabble makes adherence difficult until a profit is made.

Unfortunately, these are not the only hurdles you have to overcome.

Move past it and you will see the light. “The 3 BIG Mistakes”

If you aren’t falling for the constant bombardment with information and advertisements, one of the 3 Big Mistakes awaits you.

You can do everything right, but get one of these wrong, and the car just won’t start.

What are they?

Big mistake #1: Selecting the wrong market

There isn’t a more important decision you make in this business than which market you enter (ie which topic you choose to start your site on).

But once you’ve picked a market and started a site… you can’t really go back on it. Restarting is a big waste of money and time.

This is why you need to place your site in the right market.

It shouldn’t be too competitive. But you don’t want NO competitors either (you want to see that someone’s making money!)
It should be very popular but not too popular to attract too much competition.

It should have products that are both expensive and affordable so that you can earn a good commission when you sell them one. However, it shouldn’t be so costly that prospects have to consider the options for weeks before making a decision. This will result in you losing an affiliate commission.

You must choose a market you can work in.

Plenty of people have been sunk by seeing that there’s a great opportunity to be an affiliate for hemorrhoid creams… only to realize months later that they simply cannot write another article about hemorrhoid creams.

*ahem* Andrew may or may not be one of these people *ahem*

Picking a market to enter is the most difficult step, and because it’s a cruel cruel world, it’s also the very first step you need to take.

People either pick a market too quickly and realize after months that it won’t be profitable.

Or they fear the paralyzing fear that they will pick the wrong market.

Big mistake #2: Picking the wrong products for affiliate sales

It’s possible to pick a profitable market to build your site in, but fail because you picked the wrong product to try and sell that market.

Pick a product that has a great affiliate program.

… However, you need a product that you can get traffic to.

… and a product that converts that traffic into actual sales.

Each one requires its own analysis.

Are you selling steel toed boots or not? Or portable dishwashers?!

You can simply use Amazon to find products you want to sell. “Bestseller” lists…

You can filter offers by gravity using the Clickbank marketplace

A broken shovel can make it difficult to dig for gold in the right place.

Big Mistake #3: Focusing too long on just one source of traffic

It doesn’t really matter if you choose our preferred traffic method (search engine optimization), or another. You must pick ONE to begin with.

These are all so complicated, you won’t be able to master Pay.-per-Click AND SEO simultaneously

Traffic success doesn’t happen overnight. People too often give up on traffic strategies which would have worked if they had more time.

While the other lane may look wide open, you will get there quicker if you stay put.

Many people claim that they don’t get enough traffic. However, they lack the experience and knowledge to determine if they are doing something wrong or if it is actually working.

It’s frustrating that this happens often when you’re months into your new business. This can make you nervous about the money and time you’ve already spent without seeing any return.

You can make a mistake with your traffic strategy and end up losing a site that is on the verge of great success.**

They have enormous upside potential, because they’re so big you can start in one small corner of the market, and keep developing your authority site into new areas of the market as you grow.

They’re so big, and products/services move so fast in these Märkte that you can always find a new low competition corner to establish yourself in.

This means when we’ve picked one, we never doubt “Is this market really going to be profitable?”

We know it’s always profitable, and we only need to find which little untapped corner we’ll profit in first.

Step 2: Choose the most profitable products to sell

Amazon alone has over 50,000 Fishing products. Fishfinders: How can we know which products will make us the most money.

It is easy to spend hours looking through Amazon or other affiliate networks, trying to compare different offers.

Or, you could do as we did and use a software tool that automates the manual labor.

We plug “Fishing” Fishfinders is the tool we use to create our Commission Wizard (more details below). We then hit search and see the following: Fishfinders This tells us that out of 50,000 products available on Amazon, only 38 are worth promoting. Why?

Because they meet the criteria for conversions and commissions.

Instead of spending hours researching… it only took seconds.

We have made the right decision. We will start in this market with Fishfinders.

We now move onto the next piece of analysis

Step 3: Confirm your traffic potential before you start

Nothing is more important than that.

Before we commit to starting a site, we don’t just need to know that the market is good…

**We need to know there’s an attainable source of profitable traffic we can tap.**
It is important to determine how much traffic exists and what we can make from it.

All that we need to know…

– There are no missing parts.

No misplaced hopes.

– No mistakes.

Here’s how we do it:

This little chance of Fishfinders is fed into our keyword research software (more details below).

It scans thousands of keywords that are relevant to Fishfinders and looks for an opportunity.

A keyword related to Fishfinders may be searched. However, the quality of sites ranking for that keyword in Google is very low.

These are what we came up with. “anomaly keywords.”

What comes out is something like this… DKM All the sites ranking for all the keywords are on one row… and deep within them is one green opportunity keyword.

We scroll left to see what the keyword is, and… DKM Boom! Our first opportunity!

>>> This is a place we now KNOW we can get traffic, because what’s currently getting traffic is so low in quality.

The first product we’ll promote, and the first place we’ll get traffic is side scan fish finders.

CAUTION: At this point, most people stop their analysis. Don’t stop there!
They search for a product through an affiliate program and then they a “good keyword”They think. “Done. The money is mine!”

Don’t stop there. One more important step is needed…

Step #4: Confirm Profitability Before You Start

Traffic has a monetary price.

If you write an article for side scan fish finders, and it ranks for all the side scan fish finder keywords you’ve found… it will make SOME amount of money in affiliate commissions.

But how much profit will it make? But what is the profit potential?

For most affiliates, the answer is “I don’t know.” Fishfinders No keyword tool can tell you this because it’s not about the competition for the keyword, it’s about how well your article and monetization fits the people searching for that keyword.

So most people guess.

It’s not us.

We dug through our own affiliate accounts, and compiled our own data on the traffic and affiliate earnings from hundreds of products…

We also created a final software tool that calculated the profit potential for any opportunity we found.

We plug in Side Scan fish finders, along with the keywords we found, and it spits out something like this… Fishfinders While it can’t be perfect, that’s a data driven estimate of our likely monthly income if we can rank an article for these keywords and sell that product.
