ELEVEN MEN set out on a journey in 1894 with a single objective:

…to find the great spiritual teachers of the Far East Witness their extraordinary abilities.

These are the reasons. Masters The team was scattered across vast territories that included India, Tibet, China and Persia. They knew that it would take many years to find hidden villages and mountain communes. It was difficult to plan each step of the journey because of the distances between remote locations and isolated areas.
