BigJerr – Cinematic Synthesis Digital Sound Creation
You are done with the days of sifting through synth presets in a daze.
Step into the realm of custom cinematic synthesis.
Cinematic Synthesis: Digital Sound Creation You will go from being baffled by synths to being able create any sound you want with any synthesizer.
This course is not the standard EDM synth course. Instead, through this 8 hour video course, we’re gonna look at how to create the type of badass, monumental synth sounds that would make your tracks feel home in epic scores for games like Call Of Duty and Battlefield or movies like Dunkirk and Blade Runner 2049 – completely from scratch.
WHAT THE STUDENTS SAY :
“I’ve been a complete novice to synths all my life and was dependent on luck and presets to get the sounds I needed for my compositions. Jerry helped me see how the pieces fit together and synths became a tool rather than an obstacle. It opened up a new world of possibilities. First time in my career and life, I can open a synth and create killer sounds from scratch.
Here are 4 of the tracks I created during the course. There are a dark cinematic drone and an ambient pad as well as a deep, slow pulse bass. The synths are the only ones that have been processed.
– Arn andersson (Co-Founder of Evenant, Composer).
“Coming from a more traditional orchestration and composition background, this course was great for me to help me dive deeper into to the world of cinematic synthesis, expanding my sonic palette and opening tons of new opportunities. Jerry has done a great job in making even the most complex concepts simple, and makes it extremely easy to follow along!”
Kenny Mac is a composer for film and video games
“Absolutely loving the new synthesis course – finally ‘getting’ it. Watched so many vids before and never really grasped it other than the terminology, but Big Jerr’s approach is just excellent, he’s a great teacher. Well done guys, great course – already thinking about how I can apply these skills to other synths I have, like Omnisphere. Time to stop being such a preset junkie and cooking my own sounds!”
– Andrew Skipper, Composer
Presets have been a part of my life for sound design. It’s now easy to design your own cinematic trailer sound design.
Jerry made it easy to understand the entire process, and helped me to comprehend everything, from simple to complex sound design concepts. Here is a short trailer cue with my own sound design. This was made the very first day I attended the course.
