I Crashed And Burned… Boy, Was My Ego Bruised!
It was 2006 and my marketing was really starting to take off!
Ten consultations with potential clients were booked for the month. of February. I was eager to land bunch of New clients
I estimated that I had at minimum 2 to 3 new clients “in the bag.” And I knew exactly what I would be spending my new income on. I had planned to take a weekend with my fiancee, fix my car, and go on vacation.
It was the moment of Truth and disaster both struck.

Nada, zilch. My services were not accepted by anyone.
Needless to state, I was dejected and devastated after that!
It was very frustrating to have all these conversations with potential clients only to come away empty-handed.-handed.
It hurts to admit it, but I was desperate to get clients (and make some money) in my business. This experience led me to question whether I was right for my business.
The worst thing was, I started avoiding consultations like the plague, because I couldn’t take the rejection. I was almost wishing they’d cancel at the last minute, because I didn’t want to face another person saying NO.
