Cinema 4D Infinite 3D Loops
Get insight into how to create infinite animated loops mathematically correct, and appealing. Cinema 4D. You will learn how to get people to watch your photos 20 times per day.
Requirements for Students
Comfortable navigation in the cinema 4D. You have modelled, animated, textured, and rendered a few projects. Oscar will talk about Arnold to help you achieve a nice look. You can choose any render that suits your needs, but Oscar will use Arnold.

Masterclass Tutor
Oscar Petterson
3D motion designer
Oscar Pettersson, a Stockholm based photographer 3D Motion designer with deep commitment to solving intricate problems
His delicate animations are at the cutting edge of what is physically possible. Oscar turns complexity into clean geometric designs.
His surrealistic texturing combined with infinite motion leaves you wanting to know more.
His work has been featured, among others, on Behance and Fubiz as well as Motionographer, Stash, and Stash.
Masterclass Curriculum
These are the basic principles
This lesson will cover the basics of looping. A little math (radius-sin-cos and cos), keyframing, and the importance and significance of even numbers. This masterclass will help you to understand the basics and allow you to create your own infinite loops.
Rigging / Animation X 2 loops
This is where we will begin to create our loop with basic shapes, and then tweak our animation. Our animation will be polished with Timetrack and we will use a lot Align to Spline. We’ll also rig the camera to loop andsee our animation coming to life.

We will now make it look great! To make sure that all textures are seamless through our loop, we will use a few techniques. Different tricks will be used to achieve the same look for the light. Before we press Render we’ll choose the perfect camera angle and make sure everything is perfectly loopable. Last but not least we’ll add an object mask that we will use later on in After Effects.
Compositing (universal, comping only one loop)
After we have created our loop, we can jump into After Effects to use all of our object masks for compositing, color correction and grain. Next, we’ll finish the setting so it looks perfect on Instagram.
