I used to view blues as a quick and easy way to jam with other artists. Everyone knew what to say. It was all I had to do was shout. “Blues in A” The drummer chose the beat and we all started to move.
My obsession with Stevie Ray Vaughn, the Blues legend, began when I became obsessed. I spent months studying his playing style and devised practice routines that would target the skills I desired. Then, the best thing ever happened.
My soloing experience was completely transformed by my analysis of his playing and the creation of practice routines and methods to help me quickly achieve his skill.
