My Most Useful Power Lick
This Powerlick is one my favourite alternate picking shred-licks. It’s sharp and accurate, but wild and unpredictable at the same time. Alternate picking is what I use for the whole lick. However, I can also demonstrate how to play it with hammer on or pull offs.
You can use the lick in any of the three notes per scale shape. It is also suitable for flamenco and rock music.
