Although we have many members of the military, law enforcement, and martial artists who have been victims to violence in their lives, this program was designed for anyone with no or little experience.
STDS Combatives are NOT martial arts.
Martial arts are closely tied to a culture, or sport, that are bound by rules.
Tae Kwon Do is well-known for its high kicks. Karate is famous for its reverse punch. Judo has its throws. Brazilian Jujitsu has its submissions. Muay Thai is known for its leg kicks. Aikido has its joint locks.
Consider each martial art as a company.
Each one wants to be different by the things they do.
Martial arts requires you to do certain things. “way” In accordance with the country of origin and style.
