Iâve been in business for a decade, and in that time Iâve had my fair share of defining moments, including a life-My life was changed by a serious brain injury that threatened my life a few decades ago, and the births I had of my three beautiful children.
Iâve launched businesses, Iâve sold them, Iâve merged them and unmerged them. Iâve taken plenty of money out of my businesses and reinvested some when Iâve needed to.
A couple of years back, I purchased a Ferrari. It was on my wishlist. âto doâ list for a while, and Iâm pleased I ticked it off. I barely kept it for 12 months though; it burnt through cash that Iâd prefer to invest in my businesses or enjoy with my family in a way thatâs hard to do when youâve only got two seats!
Two Moments that Defining…
Ten years apart
A book was recommended to me almost a decade ago. If youâre anything like me, youâll just order the book and add it to the pile, and thatâs exactly what I did with this one.
It was called âGetting Everything You Can out of All Youâve Gotâ The text was written by a man called Jay Abraham. Iâd heard of him, but I didnât know much about him.
The book had probably sat on my shelves for a while, but someone suggested it to me. So I pulled it out, cleaned off all the dust and began reading.
