Finally Free This is a toolkit for teachers, by teachers.
Angela Watson 11 years experience as an elementary school teacher. The last 9 years were spent as an instructional coach. Dan Tricarico’s been a high school teacher for the last 25 years.
We understand the unique challenges teachers face. We constantly hear from exhausted educators who feel alone, and don’t have anyone who can help them think about the demands of teaching through a healthier lens.
So, we’ve partnered up to be your “virtual mentors” The toolkit will guide you through your teaching journey, and offer encouragement and reassurance when you feel overwhelmed.
How was the toolkit created to assist?
This toolkit is not a checklist of things to do, but a way to learn HOW to think about work.
A mindset shift is the key to overcoming anxiety and overwhelm. This requires a change in your thinking. With several hours of audio messages included in the toolkit, each time you listen, you’ll be renewing your mind and establishing new mental habits.
We offer support for you to go through the materials in a structured way (like you would for a formal course) if that’s your preference. The toolkit was created to be an open resource that you can use whenever you need it. That means it won’t be one more thing you feel guilty about not completing.
These new ways of thinking will become more effective as you listen to and practice them over time. “retrain your brain” You can finally think in ways which will allow you to feel free from overwhelm and anxiety.
“I’ve bought other courses on mindset and anxiety, but Finally Free was so much more pertinent. There’s nothing else like it and it covers the EXACT issues I’m facing every day as a teacher. Thanks so much.”
-Jonathan, 11th/12th grade teacher, WA

Angela The idea for the toolkit was born out of her involvement in the 40 Hour Teacher Workweek Club. The way teachers think is crucial to their productivity, work/life balance, job satisfaction, and effectiveness. Many club members expressed a strong desire for support in grappling with anxiety and overwhelm beyond the scope of what’s covered in the club, so she set out to create a new resource that addressed that issue alone. Angela Already had strong connections to Dan’s work and mission, having reviewed his book and hosted him as a guest on her podcast. She asked Dan To partner with her in the creation of a more comprehensive resource than she could create on her own, Angela Dan We have been working together for several months to develop a solution to teacher anxiety. Now we are happy to offer it to you as a resource.
“I listen in the car when I’m trying get myself in the right mind frame for the day, and do Dan’s meditations sometimes after school to help me unwind. This has been a real game changer in my day.”

It is an audio toolkit. How can I find the time to listen?
You’re already overwhelmed, so reading a book or watching a training might feel like another demand you can’t keep up with. You can instead listen to audio messages while you commute or while cooking, cleaning, or just going about your daily routine. Because we believe that you will get the best benefit from listening to positive, encouraging words repeatedly spoken into your heart and mind, an audio format was chosen. There’s nothing better when you’re feeling anxious than hearing reassurance from someone who understands what you’re going through, validates your feelings, and helps you work through those feelings in a practical, uplifting way. Each module’s transcript is also available in a PDF format.
Are there professional development credits available for this course?
While we will issue a certificate, you won’t be able earn PD credits because we are not partnered in any way with any state or district. The toolkit is recommended only for those who truly desire to learn how to overcome teacher anxiety. If not, you can use another course to meet continuing education requirements.
Does this resource treat clinical anxiety?
No, we’re not trained in psychology or psychiatry. The toolkit is designed to be helpful for anyone who has clinical anxiety. However, we understand that such needs are beyond our ability and capabilities. Support from a mental healthcare professional is necessary in these cases. This toolkit was created to assist teachers in dealing with anxiety, worry, overwhelm, stress, and general anxieties related to teaching. It also helps them to change the way they view their lives and work.
Does the resource belong to a specific religion?
This toolkit is intended to be used by all teachers. These recommendations are based on cognitive principles.-Teachers who are interested in working through anxiety issues can benefit from mindfulness and behavioral therapy. Both Dan Angela’s personal beliefs are rooted in Christianity, but there are no references to any religion or spiritual disciplines in the toolkit. If you’re not familiar with meditation, the bonus guided meditations can be skipped. You can return the toolkit within 30 days if you feel it is not compatible with your worldview.
Does the toolkit apply only to teachers at a particular grade level, or American educators?
This toolkit is intended to be helpful for all teachers. This toolkit is not tied to any particular curriculum, standard, or country. Any group of kids, anywhere in the globe (from Preschool to High School), can be worked with.-K-You will find the toolkit helpful in the 12th grade. The toolkit is also recommended to paraprofessionals and administrators. This toolkit is for educators who struggle with the majority of the topics covered in the 10 modules. If it doesn’t, contact us within the first 30 days and we’ll give you a refund.
How can I be sure the toolkit will help me?
You can return your money within 30 days. Try it out for 30 days, and if you don’t feel a reduction in your anxiety and sense of overwhelm, send us an email and we’ll refund your money.
“Wow, this is better (and cheaper) than a therapy session. Hah! And I can go back and listen to anything you’ve said whenever I want. Love it!”
