After literally a year of failure and repeated struggle, I sold web design to a few local businesses. Aka’s family and friends.
Daryl Rosser – Consulting Program
Hello, my name’s Daryl Rosser and I’m the founder of Lion Zeal.
Like many others, my journey to this business began when I accidentally found the opportunity and realized the immense potential.
All it started with $50 per month from a small customer.
Imagine this for a second…
I was 17 years old when I started living what I believed was life in 2009. “the good life”.
I stayed in the Panorama Suite at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas.
Flew BA’s first class, London to Orlando. More times than I can count, I have flown business class.
Queenstown (NZ), Sydney (Sydney), Orlando, New York (Venese (4x), Amman(Jordan), Cairo, Egypt, Bali, South Spain and other places.
To help my parents through the recession, I paid off their mortgage for several months.
And yet… this happened. I got down to my last £171.21. Around $200 USD.
All because of one big argument I had with my business partner and, obviously, reckless spending that led up to it.
This was the point where I felt completely screwed. You see, my business partner was the speaker. He was the one who spoke, and I was the one who made it happen on the computer.
Except that he took all my money and stole my websites, and I was left back in “Corby”My hometown is reportedly the most miserable place in the UK.
After literally a year and half of struggle and failure, I was able to sell web design to two local businesses. Aka’s family and friends.
That was the wrong thing to do. Until I realised, you’ve got to work your a– off, for a measly $450.

It wasn’t a meeting at this little table here, that things finally turned around. This was my. “oh shit” Moment when I realized that businesses had enough money to invest and not $50 per month.
This is where I met Tim the first time. An owner of a home care business that wanted SEO. Now truth be told, I didn’t know a thing about SEO, but all I remember from that meeting is one thing…
Tim spoke along the lines of “we currently have over 30 carers working for us”. Now I’m not the smartest guy in the world, but I know you’ve got to be making some decent money to employ 30 people.
Plus I was broke… So naturally, I said yes.
And here’s the really crazy thing…
Despite being cripplingly shy and looking like a high school student, I managed to get the deal.
What’s more, I had no idea what SEO was. I purchased a course to learn how to do this the next day.
It worked, even though it was crazy. Within a matter of weeks, Tim was ranked #1 in Google.
And then I knew I’d found “my thing”.
What I didn’t know was that I’d nearly go broke trying to get client number two. It took 8 months for this to happen.
I finally figured it all out.
I began emailing other home-care companies to tell them about Tim’s results. In a matter of months I was able to acquire several new clients. And this was something that I kept repeating over again.
Fast forward a little more, and not only did comfortably clear 6 figures profit in 2014, I also felt safe enough to follow what I’d been day-dreaming about for 3 years…
Moving to Chiang Mai (Thailand) by buying a ticket. My home for almost a year was in Chiang Mai, Thailand, the digital nomad capital.
Then things got even more rapid.
I started travelling a lot… a trip once or twice a month. Visiting a small island in Vietnam, relaxing in Spain, shopping in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, swimming in the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, visited Osaka and Kyoto in Japan, explored Seoul…
My team flew out to Bali for a week-long retreat.
Multiple times, I was invited to speak on stage before hundreds of people.
Naturally, people began to notice and ask me how I did it.
After long rejections, I finally made a blog to share some strategies. This was back in 2014. I called it “Lion Zeal”.
There were no affiliate links, opt-ins, or monetisation back then. However, people began to demand more.
This eventually led to creating digital marketing courses, which I’ve continued to develop and improve over the past few years. Now, I’m focusing on one course: the Lion Zeal Consulting Program.
