Windows 9 gets a new 9 Camtasia 3 for Mac
It was this new program that allowed you to capture your computer screen, which I used from 2003.. Technology has advanced at an alarming rate since then. But there is more. Camtasia, change has come at a much slower pace…often with years passing and no notable changes whatsoever.
Version for Mac released in 2009.. It was unfortunately more of a knock.-Screenflow, a very popular and well-established competitor to the Mac (Screenflow) was used. It remained largely unchanged for the next seven years.
In 2012 Camtasia released a major revision for Windows users… 8. It is the first time. Camtasia could be used for more than just recording your screen…it could be used to edit on-camera video too. However, it can be used as a tool to on-Camera video was still far behind other tools for many years. For the next 4 years it remained virtually unchanged.
I was disappointed when it was announced in 2016 that there were new versions available for Mac and Windows users.. After all, Camtasia already had a history of painfully slow updates…and when those updates did come out…they contained features that had been available in competitors’ products for years.
My indifference quickly turned to excitement after the first time I used it. “new” . Why? It was delicious. Like, really, really, good. What had changed? Everything.
