Dave Kaminski – Gig Money
Here’s Google’s Definition of The Gig Economy
Per Google search – A gig economy is a free market system in which temporary positions are common and businesses contract with independent workers for short-term engagements. The term “gig” Is a slang term meaning “a job for a specified period of time”.
Here’s a fun fact about Google and the gig economy – Google now has more gig workers on their payroll than full-time employees.
But wait, there’s more. Intuit’s CEO in 2017 stated: “the gig economy is now estimated to be 34% of the workforce and expected to be 43% by the year 2020”. Furthermore, it’s predicted that the “gig economy” This will become a reality. “the economy”There are hundreds of millions of microentrepreneurs.-Businesses will replace millions of 9-5 jobs.
If you look around, you’ll notice that there are gig workers everywhere. They can shop for people and deliver food to them.
And here’s an even stranger truth: these days you can become a complete hermit and literally never leave your home. Live ever. You can make it happen because gig workers will do whatever you need.
Here is my definition of The Gig Economy
You do small, short-term jobs (gigs) for businesses. You can make a living from gigs. When you are done with a gig you can move on to something else.
You don’t have to be married to anything. You don’t deal with an idiot boss, annoying co-Workers, irritating customers, company politics and stupid meetings.-shoring, salary-pruning, cost-Cutting or any other common business drudge.
You do a gig. You get paid. You get paid. You walk away.
It’s NOT a full-Time-consuming, second job, part-Any type of job, whether it is a time job or another type.
It’s a gig. You do only the gigs you choose. You always get what you want. And when the gig is done, you move onto the next one…whenever you want.
In the gig life, you and only you decide what work you’ll do, when you do it and how much you’ll be paid for it. It’s freedom 101.
Here’s the #1 reason you should be doing gigs:
You never know when they’ll be needed.
Look, I don’t need to do gigs. I am well-I have owned and operated online businesses for over 20 years.
But since 2005, I’ve regularly done gigs too.
Why?
Because you never know when you’ll have to rely on them.
Jobs get lost. Products cease to sell. Businesses close. Traffic disappears. Divorces happen. Medical bills are a common problem. There are many ways that your income can be dramatically reduced or disappear suddenly.
Panic sets in, and stress starts.
But if you’ve been regularly earning gig money, it doesn’t. You already know you have gigs. These gigs are proven to be reliable and can provide you with the income you require.
Gigs can be a financial safety blanket. You have a backup plan you can tap into-demand.
Doing Gigs Is Waaaayyy Easier Than Selling Stuff Online
You can keep your full potential!-It’s a Time Job
It is difficult to sell any product online, digital or physical. There’s a lot of stuff you need and even more you need to know.
Video, graphic design, copywriting, payment processing, email services and web design are just a few of the many things you will need. Those are just some of the things you’ll need to have (and know how to use) to sell products online.
But the gig life doesn’t require any of that stuff. Most gigs can be landed and completed using regular email and PayPal.
I will repeat it again: gigs are not a full-Part-time, time job, second job-Time job or any other type o employment.
These are things you do because you love them and they fill your free time. It just so happens that you’re getting paid for them as well.
With gigs, you don’t have the stress, urgency or expense of “starting a business”. You’re just doing small, short-Term gigs for other people. These gigs can add up. And gigs that generate income much faster than the average gig. “starting a business from scratch”.

Earn money for figuring out what you want to do
Here’s something I hear on almost a daily basis. A person hates their job, feels bored, or is unable to find a job. They want to make money online but don’t know what to do or sell.
Do gigs instead.
First, it’s a way easier and faster way to start making money online. And that’s an important step. You will soon feel satisfied once you have made your first purchase online.
And second, you’ll find out in a hurry what you love doing and what you hate doing. If you’re looking for direction for what to do “full-time” Online, gigs can be your compass.
For example, maybe you’re thinking about being some type of coach or mentor. Start by doing some gigs where you mentor or coach people over the telephone. You might find that this is what your heart desires. Maybe you discover that people are a suckster and you don’t like talking to them.
Either way, by using gigs, you’ve been paid to find out what you’d love to do or will want to avoid when it comes running a business online.
Use Gig Money To finance anything
You can do whatever you like with your gig income.
A gig might pay $25, $250 or $2,500. It all depends on the gig you are doing and the details of what it involves. There are many people who make 6 figures.-You can make thousands of dollars a year from gigs. But to me, that’s when the gig life becomes more like a job and not something you’re doing because you enjoy it.
I usually use gig money to finance equipment. For example, I’m typing this right now on a 2019 iMac bought and paid for with gig money. My old iMac was seven years old, so I needed a new one. But iMacs are very expensive. I gigged and saved enough money to buy a new iMac.
Maybe you want to use gig money to pay off bills, invest in something, take a vacation, buy a camera or cover your mortgage…again, what you do with your gig money is up to you. They key point to remember is that it’s there for you…and you earned it doing something you enjoy.
Oh, just to show you that I’m not full of crap about this gig life stuff, here’s a look at the payments I’ve received for some recent gigs I’ve done:
The “Gig Life” This sounds cool!
But how do you get started? And what are the best ways to go about it?
How to be successful at it?
Let me help you with that…
