Can anyone become a successful trader
YES!*
I am 100% convinced that anyone can learn trade. One caveat: *To be successful, you must want it. You may be thinking, wait, doesn’t everyone want to be successful? I’m not so sure. My biggest concern with traders is their inability to plan and outwit the markets. They refuse to give in to their predetermined strategies.-conceived notions and aren’t willing to ignore much of what has been taught as “conventional wisdom. ” They tend to interject logic into what the market should be doing vs. accepting what the market is doing. The good news is that these problems are easily fixed through understanding how markets really work and accepting what is.
Are you really smart to trade successfully?
NO!
People who are highly intelligent can be bad traders. This happens because they do not accept the fact that markets often act in an irrational, emotional way.
NOT Rocket Science
I was once emailed by a rocket scientist. He said: “Rocket science is not rocket science. Trading is rocket science!” I explained that his problems were caused by the fact that the man was trying to insert logic and reasoning into the equation. These things might help to get a rocket off the ground but don’t always apply to trading.
It’s not just rocket scientists that struggle. This is true often for lawyers, doctors, technicians of automatic transmissions and other highly-skilled or educated people. It’s not your fault. Actually, it’s not your fault if you dig into trading psychology. “bad training” For the markets. This is easily reversed. So, if you’re smart, don’t worry. But you are not doomed. You’re just going to have to accept the fact that logic doesn’t often apply. Once you are able to understand the workings of markets, then you can just follow along.
Trading It’s not an easy task, but it’s not as difficult as people make it seem. The mechanics of the system are quite simple. In fact, it never ceases to amaze me how the simplest of concepts can work quite well in real markets. This was what inspired me in trademarking. “Trading Simplified.”
“Take The Easy Route”
Two ways to be a successful trader are available-There is an easy and hard way. The difficult. Very expensiveThe best way to get rid of the basics is to try different methods that look promising. “too good to be true.” And, then later find out that they truly are too good to be true. This journey can take years and provided that you don’t go broke and/or give up in frustration, you reach true enlightenment when you return back to the basics.
Some Hard Realities
You’re Not Going To Get Rich Overnight
Good trends don’t come along every day – It will take some time to catch good market trends. The good news is that if you learn how to recognize and get aboard them, you’ll be ready for when they do. You’ll limit your losses in less-More than-You can do amazing things in ideal conditions.
So You’re Not Selling The Golden Goose?
Why would anyone sell a goose that lays golden eggs? Good question! If you’re anything like me, chances are you’ve been on some marketing lists. You probably receive emails every day with false promises, just like me. Here are two of my favourites:
“Make 10-million in 10 minutes a day”
“Make 2-4% every day.”
Obviously, “make 10 million in 10 minutes a day” is complete and utter BS but, how about 2%-4% Everywhere day? A $10,000 account could be worth between $1.4 million and $181 million with simple compounding in just one year. That’s returns in the 14,000% to 1,800,000% range. Again, these claims are slightly exaggerated-Sarcasm is implied. And, if they were true, why would you tell anyone?
The Trader’s Dilemma

Predicting markets is similar to forecasting weather. The short version is:-Forecasts that are long-term are feasible. You can forecast if it rains soon if it is cloudy and thundering. But you don’t know when or if it will.
Short-term trading has higher accuracy and the risks are generally lower. Unfortunately, gains can be limited. It takes time for big trends to emerge. The bad news is that anything can happen. Trading where the gains are limited and the losses are potentially unlimited is a recipe for disaster-Any methodology.
The real money is in the longer term-Trading term. The risk is high. The greater your chances of getting soaked, the longer you stay in a market. These are the famous long stories that we all know about.-Term traders may be feared, but a Google Search will reveal that they are often dissolved.
This creates a problem. This creates a problem.-Term trading is not without its problems, as is longer term trading.-Trading term. You must manage your losses and still allow for the possibility of longer term trading to make it a profitable business.-Long-term gains. So what should a trader do? Both! You don’t need to make a mutually exclusive choice. You truly can have your cake and eat it too by trading for both short-term AND longer-Long-term gains. You can make short-term gains by managing your money and your position.-In the event that the trend is not long-lasting, you can still make term profits. However, it is important to keep the position for the rest of its life if the trend becomes the mother.-Of-All the latest trends
