David M. Buss – Evolutionary Psychology, 5th Edition

David M. Buss In 1981, he received his Ph.D. degree from the University of California at Berkley. His academic career began at Harvard. He later moved to the University of Michigan and then accepted his current position at the University of Texas as Professor of Psychology. His main research interests are human sexuality and conflict between the sexes. He also studies homicide, stalking and sexual victimization. He is the author of over 200 scientific articles and six books. Buss Numerous awards have been won, including the American Psychological Association’s (APA) Distinguished Scientific Award in Early Career Contribution to Psychology (1988), APA G. Stanley Hall Lectureship (90), APA Distinguished Scientist Lecturer Award (2001), as well as the Robert W. Hamilton Book Award (2000). The first edition of the Robert W. Hamilton Book Award (2000). Evolutionary Psychology: The New Science of the Mind. He is also editor of the first comprehensive Handbook of Evolutionary Psychology (2005, Wiley). He enjoys extensive cross-Cultural research collaborations and lectures are widely available in the United States and internationally.
