My name’s David Marsh and I’ve been a day trader for over 15 years. My first online sale was in 2007. It was such an success that we had limited the number of students who could purchase it and then discontinued its sale to the general public in 2012.

About David Marsh

I have been involved in the markets since the early 1990’s. I started with futures trading, then moved on to options trading, graduated to stock trading, then full circle, back to futures trading—where I will stay permanently. I also learned swing trading, daytrading, and options trading during this period.

At 21 years old, I drove from Buffalo, NY to Chicago in order to attend a $3800 Options class. It was a great course, I learned a lot and was able to visit the CBOT (Chicago Board of Trade)—I even bought a CBOT sweatshirt! However, when I got back, I was broke and had to give up everything I had learned. I went back to work.

I was able save enough money to open an account. It took me only a few months before I was able to blow the account out. I was able to retrace my steps and find the secret to trading. I read a lot, went to many expensive seminars, and even bought a few home study courses from GURUS. I was able to learn about technical analysis as well as all the indicators you could use in order to predict market prices.

The first three years were difficult. I lost thousands of dollars and blew out many trading accounts. I realized trading is a tough business but I moved on—knowing one day I would find what I was looking for. It took me some time to realize what I was lacking in discipline. I struggled to keep up with the rules.

Trading was a completely different experience for me. I realized it was a tough business and that if I couldn’t follow rules then I really had no business trading. The rest is history!

Then, I devised a very simple method of trading. Two indicators were extremely accurate when combined. Of course, I back-It was tested for several months to verify its effectiveness and to establish rules, entry, exit, etc. The results were amazing after I had traded with real money for 3 months.

My entire outlook is different. My goal was to make money in the market. Now that’s not the case. Now I trade to make a living. To live comfortably, I only take a little bit each day. I love to think of it as an apple tree. Every day I go out and pick the apples that I need. I don’t try to cut down the whole tree!
