While that last one is very important, it’s probably the aspect of Martial arts are what I am most interested in.
It is rewarding, however, and essential to have a plan for your life and a set of skillsets.-threatening situation.
At any moment, you or the ones you love could be accosted on the street… whether it’s by a mugger, some drunks coming out of A pub or a street-Raging maniac with whom you just had an fender bender
Be prepared for anything
And even more important… you need to learn how to dissolve dangerous situations, or make sure they don’t happen at all.
When you’re someone who’s mastered martial arts, you get the strange paradox of They are not necessary to be used.
Predators, thugs and other offenders can smell when someone isn’t a suitable target. They filter potential victims, conscious and unconscious, who are willing to give them a run for the money.

Why every Martial Art Will Let you Down
(And How to Fix It)
Now I’m not going to get in a war about which martial art is the best. All fighting systems will let you down in one way or another.
Traditional Martial Arts (Like Karate & Kung Fu) take years or sometimes decades to be “street ready.” They make great hobbies and are great sources of income. of Personal growth are important but not as a way to become more self-sufficient.
And that’s assuming you actually find good teachers, who not only know the right techniques, but are willing to take the time to teach you. Martial arts is a complex discipline. of McDojos are out there, who will take your money and give you a false sense of security of confidence.
What about other options?
Modern Combat Sports like Brazilian Jiu-Muay Thai kickboxing, MMA and Jiu Jitsu are great for learning how to fight. They also have a shorter learning curve than traditional martial arts.

They also have big problems:
• They require athleticism and constant practice. You can say goodbye to all other hobbies.
• They will destroy your body over time.
• They don’t teach you any of The most powerful and energetic skills
It’s a dark secret that most people who persist in Jiu-Permanent injuries in MMA, Muay Thai and Jitsu will last much longer than the time they were involved in the sport.
Broken fingers, broken knees and broken ribs can all be found everywhere. And that’s just the obvious accidents. What’s more common is the everyday wear & tear on your joints, leading you to constant pain every day.
That leaves one last major category… self-Krav Maga and other defense classes are available.
These classes can be very effective, but they also have their problems. These moves must be learned regularly, and you should be comfortable with being brutal at the drop. of a hat.
Gouging eyes and biting your ears is not acceptable of your comfort zone, then you’re going to want something more balanced.

As a martial arts enthusiast, I’ve spent many, many years mastering different types of Martial Arts.
My “ranking” You can be a master martial artist by demonstrating the following:

• 2nd Degree Black Belt Kosho Kenpo Ryu
• 1st Degree Black Belt Phan Ku Ryu Jujitsu
• Certified Instructor Combat Systema
• Certified Instructor: Cinco Mano Escrima
• Certified Instructor: Modular Blade Concepts CQC (CSSD)
• Certified (Basic) Instructor Modern Arnis
• Brown Belt Small Circle Jujitsu
Along with that, I’ve studied Tai Chi Chuan in China, as well as Malaysia’s deadly art of Silat, Wing Chun Kung Fu and American Kenpo are some of the other options.
Now if you’re asking “David, how in the world did you have enough time to practice all of these?” then you’re onto something.
Learn all of These martial arts would require hundreds to master one after another. of years.
And for most people, trying to learn multiple arts at the same time would be vastly confusing… especially when you’re practicing very different arts that seem to contradict each other.
Please note that the certifications I have given are third-party.-Party, very-Credible boards of approval, so it’s not like I just took a few lessons from each art and declared myself an expert.

What I did was discover the unifying elements that make all martial arts work. These I then put to use and improved until they could be applied to all martial arts and all aspects. of life.
