Dean Somerset – Post Rehab Essentials 2.0
Everything we know about training is wrong
All of us are taught that muscles contract or relax. They relax and contract, and then they produce force. This is true, but it’s not the whole story. Although we were taught to stretch and strengthen the weak, we often forget to ask the simple questions like WHY does it feel weak or tight?
Let’s use tight hip flexors as an example. They are common and we all have them. We spend hours trying to get rid of them or find a better way. All this stretching provides short term relief, but doesn’t solve the problem. Are we better off doing more of the same or changing our perceptions about the body?
The answer is that the hip flexor isn’t tight on its own. It’s tight for a reason. It’s up to you to find out what that reason is.
My name’s Dean Somerset. I’ve been a personal trainer for 15 years, and over 80% of my personal clientele come directly from medical referrals (physiotherapists, chiropractors, general practitioners, surgeons) in order to help their patients get continuing results when they leave their clinics. I started out wanting to help people lose weight and gain muscle. But, I quickly realized that most of my clients had some sort of problem with their hips, shoulder, back, knee, or hip.
It was an important step to learn how I could work with a wide range of injuries, conditions, developmental issues and other challenges.
It’s funny, though, that they require the same level of movement coaching as elite athletes.
This is the place. Post Rehab Essentials This is it.
This workshop covers the essentials that every trainer needs to know about injury post.-Before they work with their clients, rehab is essential. It addresses the most common injuries, including those to the hip, spine, knee and shoulder. Each section covers pertinent anatomical information. This includes how to assess and decide who can and cannot train, as well as how to train the injury to achieve the best results.
These concepts are contained in Post Rehab Essentials I have achieved the following results for my clients:
A client with extensive abdominal and pelvic reconstructions had her weight lifted almost twice in one year. She was pain-free.
I helped a client with hip replacement surgery and helped him to play golf and ski the next day.
Re-I created my own low back problems to eliminate pain and do the splits.
My wife has suffered a series SI joint injuries and I need your help to get her back into competitive triathlon.
To prepare for the Sochi Olympics, help an Olympic gold medalist with a hip injury.
Regain your clients’ trust by training with purpose and getting them out of pain.
The complete package includes:
INJURY CONCEPTS
How many injuries can you get?
What makes or breaks a training program for the different injuries you’ll commonly see in a gym
How injuries heal, and when it’s right to begin training
Why rehab and training aren’t two separate programs

Fear is what keeps your clients from achieving their goals, and you need to be aware of how it can hold them back.

Q: How does this version differ from the previous?
I’ve changed roughly 70% of the content of the old version to the new version to reflect the current state of research and concepts that have shown to generate far superior results for clients, while also being easier to digest and understand. The body is the same but this is a different way to view it.

Dean Somerset One of my favorite things is “go to” There are many resources available in the fitness industry for me when I have a question that is truly amazing. I can confidently say that not many people are knowledgeable about rehab, movement dysfunction and training. It’s not just that. Dean The priceless “under the bar” This is something that most trainers lack in order to be able apply their knowledge in a real setting.-I waited patiently for the release of Post Rehab Essentials Because I knew Dean It would be over-deliver big time – and I wasn’t disappointed. Each time I return to it, I learn something new and gain new ideas for my program. I don’t recommend ANY product without truly believing in it or if I don’t actually use it in my program. “Dean It is my primary source of information on stability, mobility, strength, and expanding my knowledge about the body.
moves in general. He releases products and I always buy them. It is not fake. “bro” science. He has the education and experience. I know from personal experience that his methods work and are fast.
He also has a talent for presenting the material in a straight forward, easy to comprehend manor that won’t put you to sleep. It’s a great mix of anatomy, theory, and hands on demonstration. Don’t think you know much about corrective exercises. You are actually wrong. Dean To do justice to his methods, he needs to come up with a new phrase. Take the DVDs’ knowledge and use it to POOF! Your clients and you will be able to rock strength without any tight muscles or nagging pains.
My clients have the same goals as me. They want to be strong and move well. They also want to see continued results. Applying the knowledge set forth in post rehab essentials has brought both strength and quality of movement to my body; as well as to my client’s that have been plagued with issues such as improper breathing patterns, tight t-spines, shoulder and neck pains, tight and immobile hips, and less than desirable movement patterns in general. If my clients aren’t progressing in their strength, remaining pain free, and moving better in their everyday lives then I cease to be of use to them. As a trainer, it is impossible to not be able to properly assess and correct muscle imbalances. Post Rehab Essentials is an essential part of my educational arsenal.
One last, but very important point. You can purchase any item once you have made your purchase. Dean’s products you do not become lost in a sea of nameless, faceless masses. He responds promptly to emails if you have any concerns or questions. This is more than what I can say about other educators I have purchased products from. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and learning. Dean!”

In total, you’re going to get 12 hours of videos, and most importantly, answers to many of the questions you may have about how to train clients with injuries.Every time you have someone who sits in front of you and says they have an old injury, a new injury, or an unexplained ache or pain, you should still be able to work with them in a safe and effective manner. Each time you turn a potential client away or have a client who can’t train because of an injury from a poorly designed program, you lose money.
If a client continues to train with you to help improve an existing injury, it’s again paid for itself. You can also add to this the fact that clients feel better if they have less pain or dysfunction. They will then be stronger and can lose weight quicker than any other program, because you took the time and worked on the issues.
No pain = Better Results = You Look Better = More Business
Because I believe in this product so much, and I just know you’re going to walk away with a lot of new information that you will be able to use right away, I’m also going to include a 60 day money-back guarantee. If for whatever reason you don’t feel you learned anything from Post-Rehab Essentials, let me know and I’ll personally issue you a full refund. That won’t be an issue though, because I’m going to go out on a limb and say that I GUARANTEE you will learn at least one new bit of information that will change the way you train your clients and probably help you get more clients to purchase training than ever before.
I make a point in the video of saying I want everyone to take at least 100 points of information with them to add to their trainer toolbox, and I’m sure you’ll get this same benefit.
You have the option to choose
Like in the Matrix, you can take the red pill and continue to train the way you have, hoping that doing hundreds of elastic band exercises will make your rotator cuff stronger, stretching your hip flexors so they will eventually loosen up, and doing hundreds of crunches to improve your abs and spinal core stability…….
……or, you can take the blue pill, watch this workshop, and see how far down the rabbit hole goes.
