My attack plan was to Direct message or email the relevant Instagram influencers and fan pages to get them to join me. By “join me”, I mean to Join my “sales team” aka affiliate marketing. The shopify app store offers several options to integrate an associate program. with Your store. Then you can set your terms and commission structure. I choose to Go with affiliatly, I’m not really sure why I chose them in the first place, but it seemed like the right choice at the time, probably cause they have a 30 day free trial. Yup, still Zero invested at this point and I’m still using them.

That was all I had. to Did you know? to Simply get fans or influencers to sign up to My affiliate program. Not hard right? It wasn’t easy. It was tedious and met with many rejections. Then, I thought to This method would be a complete waste of time for me. to scale higher. This was my experiment to I am free from a 9-5 forever, not to put myself back in one. FACEBOOK PHASE 2

July 2016 was going to be an exciting month, and perhaps one of my favorite month’s to Because of the amount I learned, my date was a very happy one. With my trusty VA by my side, I could focus on learning the in’s and outs of Facebook ads, and adding new products to test. Without hesitation, I set a lofty goal to DOUBLE my sales from last month’s 60k. I was actually surprised by myself over the past month so I decided to keep the same mindset and I would be able to achieve 120k. Oberlo also had a story on a man who reached 120k. 1 Millions in sales in just 8 months

Time to My theory. to the test…

It worked, short story!

I was able to do it more freely than in the previous month. I succeeded FREEDOM Starting at the 9-5. It’s the lifestyle everyone dreams of. I had very few responsibilities. There is no house, no tie-downs, just me and my small doggy.

I was traveling the US to have fun. I spent two weeks in New York City, Colorado and made money every day. It was at that time that I made my first 10k sales day (actually 11k). It was surreal watching the waves of the NYC Harbor as I hit it. with My best friend on a hot summer night. It was quiet too, probably cause there were no poke stops at the edge, and by poke stops, I mean the Pokemon Go craze was at it’s peak during this time so everyone was out walking!

Halfway through the year, I had already achieved my 120k mark. to I have set a new goal. 200k seemed reasonable so I went for it.

I also increased my Facebook ads. to Target more countries one at a time. It worked so well that I ended with with Sales of 240k to Closed July 2016.  Yes, I do sell internationally! Don’t limit yourself! to Only your country?

PHASE 3 DIVERSIFY

Now we have two “experiments” It was so successful that I thought, why not? Diversify You can do more by using things I have done in the past for other businesses. Then I proceeded to Add Pinterest traffic to The mix. Lucky for me I was quick to Automate this process, which gave me Over 200k backlinks By October For those that don’t know what those are, they are url’s linking back to Your website.

During this time, however, I also realized how much income I was leaving behind. email marketing.

I decided to Finally, I sent my first email campaign with Mailchimp was the best choice for this company. This worked out well, even though I didn’t know what I was doing. I focused on the images in my emails. with Little text. After all, it’s easier to Sell to Customers that opted in to receive information because they were either interested or are already customers. Hint: Your mailbox is full of great examples!

Then October came around and I made my first million sales. I beat the Oberlo guy by 3 months. Let’s take that! Now, what? Whatever the reason, you can’t have enough when you’re a goal-setter. It wasn’t that I needed more money; I just enjoyed the challenge. I knew what I wanted. to See if you can do it faster.
