Dr. Steinberg has a private practice in Los Angeles that is devoted to older adults and their caregivers. He provides psychotherapeutic and consultation services to seniors in assisted living and nursing homes. Dr. Steinberg provides counseling and outpatient services to assist in the management of dementia.
Dr. Steinberg has been licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania as well as New York and California. He graduated from the California School of Professional Psychology at Berkeley. He has been featured on television, radio and print media.
His role is to help families understand the disease process and medically manage patients with dementia. Some of his best talents include educating staff about how to manage various patient behaviors non-pharmacologically.
